Marvel Champions LCG Mad Titan's Shadow

I was really impressed with this expansion. Marvel Champions, with just the base set, is desperately in need of more villains, and a lot of the other villain expansions have been pretty mediocre, but this one is just spot on, giving you 5 new villains to add to only 3 in the base set, and these villains are really well made. But more than that, even though the "campaign" framework is kind of tacked on to a game not designed with leveling-up in mind, I found that the structure of the campaign, taking my one hero and facing 5 ever-increasing challenges, is surprisingly pleasing. And even the least interesting of the 5 villains works perfectly well in the context of the campaign. It isn't perfect, in fact I made some house tweaks to it, but in general I think it is by far the best villain expansion to get after buying the base set. And it comes with two good heroes too!

Marvel Champions is the best solo game I've ever played and Rise of the Red Skull adds many hours of extra content. The box also included two new heroes in Hawkeye and Spider Woman. I haven't played Hawkeye yet but Spider Woman combines multiple aspects decks and is a lot of fun. But the encounters are the heart of the expansion and if you like the idea of battling Hydra and villains like the Red Skull and Taskmaster, this is a must-have.

A basic expansion for marvel champions, the value is great and recomended for beginers.

This is a cool set altogether. My favorite part would have to be the Spider-Woman Hero deck. She is so fun to use. Mainly because you get to use two different aspects when playing as her.

It was new as described. Haven't played the game yet, but I'm sure it'll be fun!

The common advice is this is the 1st purchase new players should make; after playing I can see why. What's good is the villain sets are better for replayability than the three included in the core set. The new heroes are fun, but most will enjoy playing with hero expansions more than Spiderwoman or Hawkeye.

Everything in the box was great so that’s cool. I’m pretty sure most people don’t get dented boxes but I kept mine because it’s just a box. If it really bugs you, just exchange it.

I love Marvel Champions and this was my first expansion pack. It's got a TON of value in this expansion! Two great characters (Adam Warlock def stronger than Spectrum) and FIVE villains to fight, along with an interesting Campaign mode where you play out a story! If you're looking for a great bang-for-buck, get this.
