Different but interesting
I also bought this out of curiosity, as an alternative to Aves Apoxie. I thought it would be a similar product but aside from the fact that you combine equal amounts of part A and part B, that's where the similarities to Apoxie end.The texture is actually kinda satisfying.... instead of being stiff and firm and more difficult to condition like Apoxie, both parts have a texture that is more similar to a marshmallow. When you mix them, the texture remains like a marshmallow. Another review mentioned crayola air dry clay- and before it dries, the texture is pretty similar!Like Apoxie, this product does feel a bit sticky when you first mix it, but if you let it sit for about 30 minutes, the stickiness gets much less problematic and it seems easier to work and make details.Another thing I didn't realize at first, is that it's recommended to wear gloves while working with this stuff. Saw that on the product website after I initially made a little test sculpture. I didn't wear gloves at all, and a lot of it stuck to my fingers and then the ball of clay kept sticking to where the product was on my fingers. I had to use rubbing alcohol to get it off and came back to sculpt it with clean hands and it was much better. Having a damp paper towel or a cup of water handy nearby is also a good idea- some of my sculpting tools had a tendency to stick to this stuff and I found that wetting my tools before using them helped quite a lot. And using damp fingers helped it not stick to my hands as much. While the texture of the product reminded me of crayola air dry clay before it cured, when i woke up this morning i was pleased to discover that my test piece had cured to a surprisingly hard and solid feeling finish. This product is much lighter in weight than Apoxie which initially made me worry that the cured product wouldn't be very durable - but this does not appear to be a problem! I am actually excited now that I see how it cures- I can think of many potential project ideas where the lighter weight will be a big advantage! I like to make mixed media acrylic paintings on canvas; in the past I have used Apoxie to add a 3D sculpture effect to a painting. My favorite one is a painting/sculpture of a snake that wraps around the edges of the canvas and on the flat areas on the canvas, I made it look like that part of the snake is under water, like he's chilling out in a lil puddle. It looks awesome but the heavier weight of the Apoxie made it a bit awkward to get it hung up on the wall without it being crooked! I honestly can't wait to try another canvas piece with this product and hopefully avoid the weight issue!I'm starting to think there's a learning curve with this product especially for people who are used to working with Apoxie or polymer clay. The texture and working style is quite different- I haven't had a chance to work with it beyond making a small simple sculpture. This review is just my initial impression as someone who knew nothing about this product before i bought it.I would highly suggest that anyone else considering purchasing this, or if you already have some and you're finding out that no, this isn't just an off-brand Apoxie, it's an entirely different medium....do yourself a favor and visit the manufacturer's website before you start a project!!- You'll find info for this product and all the other items they carry, plus Blogs with tips and stuff. It sounds like the company mostly caters to epoxy/resin artists, and people who make tumblers and pens and whatnot. Not my area of experience but I was excited to find so much information on their website. I've been curious to try working with UV resin for a while, and based on the initial impression of the company (very positive!) I will definitely be buying some UV resin directly from them.Shipping was fast, packaged well, AND they even threw in a free gift of some cute sparkly yellow glass stones...I use small tumbled rocks frequently to accent my sculptures, never realized these tiny glass stones existed 🤣 and I was delighted that they threw them in for free- not many companies do that anymore! So overall I am highly impressed with the company itself, and I think the only "problem" with the product is that I just don't know how to work with it yet. That's the ONLY reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5....maybe there should be a disclaimer that "hey, polymer clay/apoxie people, this isn't generic Apoxie, adjust your expectations" 🤣....if I eventually figure out how to make this stuff work with me, I'll come back and give an update! 🤣

Not fast drying
This stuff works pretty well but it's not like the fast drying stuff that I was actually looking for. It took several hours for the stuff to get even remotely hard unlike the stuff that hardens within like 10 minutes. It also stays a bit in the soft and fragile side. It doesn't take paint well, and it doesn't secure well to other material types. I'm not too bothered by it but it's not what I was looking for. I managed to make it work though and my project looks awesome. I am probably gonna do a sealant on it to keep the paint on better.

NOT for model horses
Bought as an alternative to Aves Apoxy Sculpt, but now I wish I’d just spent the money on the other stuff. Not sure if I got a bad batch or what, but it crumbled and fell apart while I was trying to mix it, even after working over a tiny piece for five minutes longer than the directions stated. Left it to cure and after the four hours, it’s still soft enough that I can make marks on it using my nails with little to no effort. The best way I can describe it is like Crayola’s Model Magic clay, but worse.

Awful
Literally melted into my fingers when I went to mix it and was hard as heck to get off. Will be returning
