Diabetic Socks Unisex Small

These socks are very nice and they are soft. Maybe because they are brand new and not stretched out...they did leave slight impressions in my ankle at the end of the day. Some days my feet/ankles get really swollen as I sit at a desk all day. Regular socks will leave deep grooves in my ankles from the cuff. These do not do that. Like I said though they did leave a slight impression but I think that is because they are new and after a few washes the top will be stretched out a bit more. I do love these and the price is great! I am a type 2 diabetic so I am being very careful about my socks and shoes to try to avoid any foot problems.

These socks are 80% cotton and 20% nylon. It's a nice combination, especially for the price. While I am not diabetic, I don't like tight socks, especially the polyester and spandex combination that is so common. When I was doing a search for cotton socks, these popped up and I decided to give them a try.I wear socks around the house, winter and summer and this loose blend works well no matter what the season. They have a nice terry cloth feel inside and are smoother outside. They stand up to the washer and dryer very nicely. Occasionally, a string will be pulled around the top of one when I take it out of the dryer but I just break it and it doesn't seem to have any real detrimental effect. They are just nice comfortable socks.

Cheap, thin, tight and not sewn well. First washing the tops of 3 unraveled. They are not true to size. I have problems with my legs and feet from Peripheral artery disease. I ordered a size 9-11 (115 pound woman & size 8 shoe) so I would have plenty of room for my toes due to neuropathy. The socks were so small what should have been around my ankle was on my heal, the seam rubbed to tops of my toes made the pain unbearable, and had to fold the top of the sock and keep on my ankle bone so my legs wouldn’t swell so bad. If I pulled them on normal I had swelling above and below the top band and cut off my circulation and left the print of the sock in my skin. When the tops of the socks unraveled there was no stopping it, I tried to cut the string only to find out it wasn’t thread. It looked like a very thin piece of round woven elastic. Very disappointed at the poor quality and a waste of money!

The socks fit and are comfortable. However, the elastic at the top of the sock still binds and leaves an impression when they are removed. I do have other socks that don't do this so I am a little mystified as to why socks promoted for diabetics still dig in.

These are very good socks for the price. I accidentally ordered two sets and hoped they would not disappoint and they haven't. I need a wide sock and most socks imprint on my leg too much. I baby these socks and do not put them in the dryer; hang them on a line and reform them and they do quite well. I did not want them to shrink like most socks do. These are cotton which I like. I actually give them a few good stretches on the top elastic before wearing and they have not stretched out of shape and fallen down. I purchased them initially due to reviews I read from others. I have bought some expensive socks (say twelve dollars a pair) that have not done as well for me. I would buy these again but won't have to for a long time.

I do like them but disappointed the top part was a little too snug for my legs. The rest of the sock fits comfortably.

For several years, I've had a problem with the standard dress and athletic socks available from department stores being too tight on my ankles and calves. This is not because my legs are thick but because, for some reason, my lower legs are sensitive to any constriction (I have not been diagnosed with diabetes). Whatever the cause of this sensitivity, these socks have been the answer. They are comfortable, good looking and appear to stand up reasonably well to repeated wearing and washing. And they are competitively priced and were delivered very efficiently by Amazon.
