Great taste and aroma. Everything you’d expect from ginger powder. I use it in my smoothies and to make a ginger tea. Also good in salad dressings. Quality ginger.

Ginger powder was good in my cooking. Be prepared to be hit with some major ginger smell when you open the bag. Bag I received appeared to be reasonably fresh. Potency was fine, on par or a bit better than the ginger powder I get at my local store. Of course, none of these powder gingers comes close to fresh ginger and ginger pastes don't either plus they tend to be expensive. The powder gets in the tracks to close to bag so if keeping in the bag be prepared to clean of the tracks in order to close the bag. I wish they would close the bag tracks at the factory so this problem doesn't occur with these powder type products. Good product and size is great of you use a lot of ginger in cooking or maybe make your own tea bags or making your own curries or seasoning mixes.

Update: Pure ginger, strong, and quite good. Have to strain for hot tea (which is my main reason for purchase) thus the 4*, but fine for other applications. A strainer does the trick. It seems to be pure ginger but not ground fine enough for tea or drinks. Good for cooking and baking.

Does what it is supposed to do. It is WAY stronger than using fresh ginger root so don't make the same mistake I did by adding a whole spoonful to my smoothy.
