Soft, not tight on the legs, but still stay up. This is my second order of these socks.

I'm going to start by saying I hate socks. I hate spending money on socks, I hate that it's a requirement that I have to maintain. I also basically never by socks. I've had the same dress socks for years, and I've hated them every single day for all of those years. But.. like I said, I hate spending money on socks. Now.. with that said. These are incredible. My husband and I started on a "minimalistic" home journey and with that we decided to minimize our wardrobes as well. I work 5 days a week in suits, and do laundry every weekend so I never need more than 5 pairs of dress socks. So, I threw every single pair of socks I own in the garbage. I could've donated.. but I didnt want to subject anyone else to the misery of those pieces of garage socks. Anyways, I threw them all away.. jumped on Amazon and battled through the misery of sock shopping. Hating every second of it and be annoyed that I had to spend my precious time actually doing this, I went back and forth between some "name brand" socks because I knew the quality would be there, and these because they have good reviews. I settled on these because it gave me 3 black, one grey and one Navy (which i'll get to in a minute). Got my socks in the mail on Sunday, washed them and wore them on Monday. If you have any doubts about buy these, don't. They are amazing. They are the opposite of everything I hated about my other socks. I'm a woman with large feet, 10 1/2 - 11, and most women's dress socks that I've found are super short and thin and lose their elasticity around the calf after a few wears. I've only had these a week so I can't speak to that, but I can say that these are amazing, super soft, slick (but not slippery), comfortable, tight enough to feel good but not overly tight, and most amazing, they are tall and don't slip down throughout the day. I searched for a set that didn't have navy blue, because they are almost always too close in color to the black and I hate trying to pair them up, I shouldn't have to spend time matching my dress socks.. ridiculous. Anyways, I took a chance and I"m pleased to say there is a pretty good difference in the color of these, making it almost impossible to mix them up and run into the situation where you show up to the morning meeting with one black and one navy sock.. not saying that's ever happened.... but it has. Now I can just open my drawer, grab a pair of socks and leave. No thought, just action. Hopefully this review helps someone like me who thinks sock shopping is the absolute biggest waste of time.

I think the thing that I like most about this sock is the construction of the toe area... there are no irritating seems. Probably there are seems there somewhere, but unlike many other socks I have never been able to detect any discomfort due to toe seems. I really like these socks!

I bought these socks because of the high Stars-to-Price ratio and the bamboo feature. I am glad I did. They are really comfortable, breath well, and seem well made so far. I like these socks better than Gold Toe.If you are tall or have big feet like me (over 6 feet) they are a perfect fit. If you are not tall, expect them to ride high up to your knee and I am not sure whether there would be too much sock for your foot.Someone complained that they say "Do it now" on them. I guess that person didn't look at the picture before they bought them :) Personally, I didn't even notice the phrase until I read the person's review before I wrote this one. And it may be a little whimsical but I kind of like the phrase on my foot! Seriously, the words are under the shoe and the socks are well suited to wear with a suit or nice dress shoes.

I got these socks for my elderly dad, whose doctor noticed the pinched ring on his legs from the socks he had been wearing and told us to buy better socks for blood circulation. These bamboo socks are exactly what he needs: high marks for non-binding comfort and softness. My review doesn't take into account durability, since we haven't had them long enough to know how well they'll wash and wear over time.

These are comfortable socks with just the right amount of elastic. I'm 6'0", 220 lbs Shoe size 9.5-10.5 (depending on maker) and they go up to just below my knee (good coverage, but higher than the described "mid calf"). They seem to breathe well. The only issue I have with them is that they are reasonably thin so they will not work well in northern winters (I live in Boston). In more southerly climes I would give these a better recommendation as daily dress sock, but here in the Northeast, they are best reserved for summer.As other reviewers have noted, in addition to the logo on the bottom, there is the slogan "Do it now" woven into the top of the foot. Personally, I find it amusing every time I go to put my shoes on in the morning, but some may find it off-putting (I always think it's reminding me to go make coffee --yeah.. sure.. like I need a reminder ;)Pros:- comfortable- stay up well (for me)- "dressy", ie, suitable for office/business wearCons:- too light for Northeastern winters- so light that those skip-on shoes that fit with your heavy socks may no longer fit- DO IT NOW !!! I had to take a moment to write about this product. I am a large man and have been looking for quality socks that do not cut off the circulation to my legs, but that still stay up with elasticity. These socks are excellent!! They are soft, fit well, look classy and stay up with elasticity, but do not cut the circulation or make my legs ache. Granted, there is some indentation on my legs because of the elastic fit, but it is sooo much more bearable than other socks that I have purchased. I sincerely plan to buy another pack of these socks.
