Good Cacao
The flavor profile for this cacao is smooth and mellow. It isn't particulary sophisticated and isn't naturally bitter. It is ground very fine, too. This is great for baking or using in hot chocolate.

Fresh but costly
This bag (tiny bag) smells like it's fresh from a cacao farm. With its clean farming and small source, it's the type of cacao that I would love to support endlessly... if cost wasn't an issue. The price for the small bag is probably justified with small supplier; however, I just can't justify the cost. It was gifted and I look forward to using it up. But it's going to be in small treasured amounts.

Feels Like Giving Yourself a Luxury Product
I had been looking for a pure grade cacao powder for a few years after watching it become popular in the fitness and nutrition social media platforms. I researched Amazon Andes on its mission, sourcing, and grade of product finding that it ticked all of my boxes on quality and sustainability. Loved the recycled and reusable zippered packaging with all of the talking points about the brand and product too..Applications I look forward to trying-.First off, I talked to my husband about how drinking cacao will help bring his high blood pressure down. So we are starting to get him started and hopefully watching his numbers come down some. He is a picky eater, so a hot cacao wont be any issue with him..The package was shipped fast and came on a rainy day when I was feeling unwell; which is a perfect day to have a hot cacao and it was LOVELY and RICH. Not gritty at 'toll. Blends nicely with hot beverages. I have not tried it cold but I bet it would be great with cold pressed coffee or cold milk..Recipe for 1 large mug: - 2 Tablespoons of cacao powder - pinch of salt - cane sugar to taste - splash of milk..I really want to try this on snow cream. Here in USA Zone 8A, we may get some this year! I will also try this with making ice pops with condense sweetened milk for Summer with my silicon mold.
