Great SPF!
The Dermablend Blurring Mousse Medium to Full Coverage Oil-Free Foundation Makeup with SPF 25 is great. It gives me the coverage I desire and an added bonus is the SPF! I'm outside a lot in the Summertime and being able to wear makeup with sunscreen is a huge bonus. I wore this out over the weekend when I was in the hot sun for nearly four hours and I didn't get burned on the face at all. I was skeptical but it proved me wrong in my wondering. The makeup was still going strong nearly all day long.My skin is oily and I often get unwanted bumps and blemishes that I would prefer not stand out. This coverage hides those imperfections and truly does mask redness. I love it literally eliminates the dark circles under my eyes. This foundation is oil-free so it doesn't add to my skin's natural oils. While blending in it doesn't make my skin feel heavy. A little bit of this goes a long way. You can apply with your fingers but I recommend a makeup sponge. I felt that when applying it with my fingers that I used more of the product than needed. So a makeup sponge will extend the time needed before having to purchase again.I like this makeup is fragrance-free, allergy-tested, sensitive skin tested, non-comedogenic. My skin had no irritation at all when wearing this. The makeup comes in a tube that features a twist top lid. The tip is finely pointed to ensure you don't use more foundation than you need. If thrown into a makeup bag or into luggage I wouldn't worry about it coming open and getting on everything.I'm enjoying this makeup and feel if you are looking for fuller coverage that this is a good place to look.

Excellent coverage and good as a concealer, with SPF 25.
I was provided a sample in exchange for my review. I was eager to try this as I am a great fan of La Roche Posay Effaclar BB Blur so I was curious to make the comparison. I use the product as a concealer under eyes and to mask redness around the nose. I dp not use it all over the face as it is too opaque and thick. But as a concealer it is effective and just the right consistency. In the LRP product I use Fair/Light. The sample of the Dermablend is the color Clay, which I feared would be too dark. It is darker than the LRP but not much darker. The products have a similar consistency and coverage. The LRP is slightly more pigmented/opaque while still not feeling thicker or more difficult to spread. All things being equal I would prefer the LRP. But the Dermablend does have a significant advantage: SPF 25, because of the Titanium Dioxide that it contains. So I will use the LRP at night and the DB during the day.

This is a great foundation. I was worried that the color would be too dark for me (Clay 45C) but after a bit of a summer tan, the foundation matched my skin tone quite nicely. I have hit the lottery with very oily and acne-prone skin and this foundation seems to keep my skin slightly closer to matte for longer than some other foundations that claim to mattify. The coverage is between medium and high, and it is very easy to build up the coverage without the product looking cakey. The foundation does not cause my skin to break out any more than usual and is capable of hiding some pretty bad acne scarring and discoloration as well as whatever acne chooses to pop up on any give day. As for stay-power, as my skin is very oily, I've had trouble finding foundation that truly does stay on all day. The Dermablend Blurring Mousse Camo does a pretty good job of staying on for most of the work day, but it is also easy to reapply or to touch-up some areas. The foundation goes on smoothly with a foundation brush or a beauty blender and, even if you apply the product liberally, it gives a natural-looking finish. The lighting in the before and after picture is a bit different but you can still see how much coverage a little bit of product gives. A little does go a long way with this foundation.

Beautiful Product!
Foremost, if your skin can handle it (since some people use this product to cover acne and this may be counter-indicated for them), try a very light primer before applying this. Apply the primer uniformly, give it a little bit of time to settle in, and then apply this with a light touch. Try a Beauty Blender or a foundation brush to give you that perfect look. If you need a little extra coverage, apply only were needed. Then blend again. If you use this with a primer, you should not have an issue with visible pores or even scaliness on dry skin (especially if you exfoliate first).Fix this with a translucent powder. This will prevent any shine that could happen over the course of the day. This is a genuinely beautiful product when used correctly. Experiment with it. Find your perfect routine. You will be surprised at how amazing this is!

excellent, meaningful coverage without the heavy feeling
Dermablend blurring mousse spreads very easily and can be applied using a brush. It has a matte finish which is good for oily skin. You don't want to use a foundation with a satin finish for oily skin...too much shine in my opinion if you're going for a natural look. The mousse covers very well like all dermablend foundations. I have been tremendously surprised how much more I like dermablend over MAC cosmetics. The coverage is so much more powerful than what I was used to without feeling heavy or cakey. The mousse has been great for everyday use and stays on all day. I always finish with a powder to set it, then a light spray. It has been working beautifully.
