I'm an amputee with severe nerve damage. For some reason, icing my limb in the evenings seems to help with the pain that I have, and this product just might be the best ice pack that I've ever used. The material is durable, just holding one of these in your hands, you can feel the difference between this pack and the other inexpensive ones. The pack stays ice cold for roughly 30 minutes, but that might vary from user to user, and 30 minutes is enough time to bring me some great relief. These seem to freeze up pretty quickly, I'd estimate roughly an hour before it's ready to be used again. I've tried several products, but this one seems to be the very best I've used to date. It's nice to have the ability to directly place the product and keep it there with the included straps, which are quite durable. If you use an ice pack product on a daily basis, something like this would be right up your alley. I'd recommend it without reservation and would easily purchase it again.

This is one great ice pack. Our family is big on ice packs. In fact, half our freezer is filled with various types for our various types of aches and pains! We also like to use them to cool down in the heat since our home doesn't have a/c. I got this one for my daughter, who has low back pain from working long hours. She said it's the best one of all the ones in our freezer. She particularly loves how it straps on securely, and it stays cold much longer than the others we have. Her back feels great the next morning after using this and getting a good night's sleep. In fact, I'm ordering a second one so she can have one at her apartment and one at our house, which she stays at when she works her second job. That's great for me, who will be using it when she stays at her appartment!

Works! Great for your back, arm, knee - any injury. Stays colder than most ice packs - this is my 3rd purchase of this product.

Def don’t reccemond this one anymore. This is my second one-as I misplaced my other one in a move. Bought my first one mid COVID and it was a life saver! But, this one is terrible. Barely stays cold for 15 minutes- so if you have multiple areas on your body you’d like to ice you’ll have to refereeze it. As a busy mom, I don’t have time for that. lol After reading other reviews stating the same thought I’d take a chance. But, I wouldn’t order this if i were you. Love the Velcro! But, that’s about it.

I like the whole thing can go in freezer rather than having to take ice packs in and out of belt. It would be good if the belt was a little longer for plus size people or come with a Velcro extender

The Coldest Ice Pack has been the perfect product for my total knee replacement. I, too, have used many cold packs. But these are the best. The cold pliable gel allows a certain amount of conformity around the knee. Over the course of using these guys I have discovered the gel is also movable. There are three bladder chambers and the gel can be squeezed from one bladder to another thereby concentrating the cold.They do last about 20-30 minutes which is adequate. However, I did purchase two in order to alternate.I have never had to heat these for use as heat therapy, however, I will say on occasion I have worn these to bed cold and waking up in the morning there is a certain amount of comfort/therapy with this product at body temperature. And the best part is, they are still where I put them the night before, thanks to the elastic Velcro straps.Overall, a well thought out product.

Works reasonably well, but with two issues:Purchased to ice a shoulder issue. The pack is not quite wide enough to provide sufficient coverage to get the full shoulder. This issue is exacerbated by the strip-style design, which makes it difficult to get an effective angle.The pack does not stay sufficiently cold for a full icing session. It lasts 15 minutes or so before getting too warm to be very effective. This is almost certainly due to the small size of the pack, not due to any fault in design or materials. Still a major drawback for the product to really be effective.I'd give it 3.5 stars if I could, but it's closer to 3 than 4.Still much more convenient than a bag of ice!
