1/4”-20 Miter T Track Bolts

I like the product but, the set screws are too small. I read this in other reviews and took my chances. The other reviews on this issue were correct. The miter bar itself is perfect. To solve the loose set screws you have to wrap teflon tape around the set screws to get a secure fit. Powertec could solve this by providing M5 set screws instead of the 10-32. The M5 is slightly bigger and should work fine. However, to get a small set of M5 screws you would have to pay almost as much for the screws as the miter bar itself. If they resolve this issue. It is a 5 out of 5 across the board. One outstanding feature is the number of set screw holes. They are every 3 inches. Many points of contact. Solve the small set screw issue and you have a perfect product. Update 3/7/23... I contacted Powertec about the set screws being to small. They responded quickly to the email and sent out the corrected set screws. The set screws fit much better and are snug enough to not loosen over time. Kudos to Powertec for making the correction to a QC issue. Still my favorite source for miter bars. By far the best product and price point. Customer service is also A+. Don't be afraid to reach out to them, even for a new set of set screws. Buy with confidence.

Fits all my stationary power tools perfectly, including a Powermatic table saw, Harvey bandsaw, Jet belt sander and router table, exactly as advertised. Would definitely buy again.

This T-track works with standard mitre gauge for a table saw, although it is slightly tighter than the t-slot in my table saw (SawStop) so I used a little dry lubricant to help the gauge rail travel more easily. I needed to make an in-feed extension table and wanted a longer pull back distance for the mitre gauge, so I used this by making the wood in-feed portion and imbedding this into the wood (God bless whomever created DADO blades). The track is very stiff aluminum but cut well with a hack saw (with lots of patience). I used construction adhesive to fix it into the wood slot. If you want to use screws you'll need to drill the holes and countersink the heads. BTW, the measurements on the Amazon and Powetech website are dead on.

Exactly what I wanted to upgrade my router table which is longer than most at 48”. Since my 48” edge guide clamp broke, I had a bit of a challenge finding a good straight edge guide long enough for router to cut the dado. But once done, it fits fine and gives some new capabilities to my router table. Fits my miter gauge and guide bars nice and snug but no binding so it seems to be made with precision.

The bars are aluminum which means perfect shape and for long years. The small screws will help in creating the perfect square angle with the fence when setting the slide

These are very nice mitre slot bars, well finished and it's convenient to have the screw holes pre-drilled. They fit a Dewalt DW744 Table saw slots with a slight amount of play, less than 1mm. The only improvement I can think of is to use brass set screws for the slot adjustment.
