This machine is too sensitive/weak to play a dvd if it has some scratches on it. It pauses and skips and doesn't play if there is slight imperfection. I switched the dvd from this unit to my Sony dvd player that is 15 years old and it played like new. Would not buy again.

OS: Windows 10 x64 (clean install)MB: Intel skyBay (U3E1)CPU: i7 6700HQ (skyLake)Device manager shows 2 errors, unknown usb device (device descriptor request failed) AND unknown usb device (port reset failed)Both of these errors disappear when the device is unplugged. Automatic driver update through device manager states driver is up to date, can't find drivers for this device online to install manually, so.....good thing i found iso versions of the cds i needed1 star, id give 0 if I could because this was a pricey little cd playerI'll give a better review if the company would like to assist me, although I will not be talking to an over the phone tech support who knows little about computers, let alone their own product, nor speaks English well (the description of this device is written with terrible grammar and vocabulary). $30.00 also isn't worth shipping in for a replacement.

This item was not work properly with mac, when connected to the laptop not detected the cd/DVD.

Did not work at all with my MacBook OS Sierra 10-12-2. Computer could not read it.
