In the concluding book of the Surviving Ashes series, we meet Van Overton and Allie James, neighbors in an apartment who barely know one another, but end up heading out of New York City to Lost Summit, Washington. Allie could not have been more different than Van's usual woman. She was on the verge of eviction and he was on the way to becoming a very rich man when the Yellowstone Caldera exploded.
