I should have got it way long time ago
Dryers very well, no stem, no extra humidity in the room, not noise, work magically. No more condescending dryer!

Not fit for purpose.
It took at least 3 times longer to dry anything. There was no revers action to the drying drum, thus causing the washing to tangle very easily. When I did my bedding I had to dry each sheet individually and untangle them every 5 minutes! They also came out very creased. I would not recommend this product and have arranged to send it back.

The water catcher is rubbish! Do not buy
The door insert that catching the water falls out every time you open the door!!!! It smashes and then you buy another one; same again and same again I’ve spent £80 on 3 water catchers it’s a joke! I’ve used Velcro, foam mat on the floor…FIX it Candy and sort its replacements.

Do not buy
Drying times are at least twice as long as advertised. And amazon send you on a run around when you try to return it.

Easy to use and save energy.
Only had this for over a week and already used it several times. It is easy to use especially if used with the the app that provides more programmes. Relatively quiet comparing to some dryers. So far I just can't faulter this fancy looking machine.

Once you get your head round it, it's great!
If like me you've had Vented and Condenser dryers then you'll know there are differences between dryers but this Candy Heat pump dryer is completely different.Scrub from your mind any previous dryer knowledge and pretend this is your first and you'll get on with it much better! The dryer itself looks like any new washer/dryer it has manual settings but with the Hon app it transform into a digital powerhouse.HON App for wifi control...The hon app is a bit fussy but if you follow the instructions it works perfectly and is a game changer, with about 40 useful programs from baby clothes to sports wear settings.Make sure you have your wifi set to the 2.4ghz channel, 5ghz will not work and if your router (like ours) overrides the 2.4ghz channel, this is where you need a bit of broadband router knowledge. You only need to do this for set up and then your router can go back to 2.4/5ghz settings and it connects fine. The dryer uses Bluetooth to pair to your phone/tablet and can only be paired to one device at a time, if you need to swap it out to a different device you need to start the pairing process again. The Dryer and it's functions...The dryer has a generous 9kg drum so is great for transferring straight from washer to the dryer without the need to split loads.Drying bed linen, towels and heavier items is so much easier, but a bit of advice, put the washer on a second spin to get rid of as much water as possible from your washing before transferring, this will help the dryer massively. The programs times are long but you can tweak them in the app to suit your needs. A typical load for us takes about 2 hours to be bone dry, however, a small underwear and light clothes load can be done on the daily 59 min setting.Contrary to other comments I've seen, the dryer does indeed adjust times according to load weight and will shorten a program when it senses the load is dry.It does do quirky things like sit on 1 min forever at the end of a cycle but I've found you can switch the dryer off and it won't do any harm, it will still pump the water into the door.(I have a Samsung washer that lies to me about washing times too, so this isn't anything to worry about unless it doesn't pump the water or shows an error code.)So far my washing loads have all dried well, no shrinking, no damage and barely any creases.Despite the long dry times it is still better economically than an old vented dryer and you use less radiator space (thus less gch) because you can get more in.The door being used as the water collector is genius, you can see when you need to get rid of the excess. It's easy to empty, just remember the water can be hot so empty away from yourself, or wait until cooled and use to water your plants! The filter is a double filter, so one large filter trap and then another that it sits inside of. Keep on top of keeping these clean and the dryer will work perfectly. I get the vaccum in the filter gap once a month just to ensure there's no loose fluff.Noise wise, it is a little noisy at the beginning and end of the cycle, I think it's the pump, but during the cycle it's as noisy as any other dryer I've had.One thing to note is this dryer (any heat pump dryer) requires an ambient temperature of about 10c to work, it relies on the external temperature so will not work well in a garage/outhouse/utility that doesn't have a mild indoor temperature.I'll update my review in a few months time to give further info if things change, but for now I'm very happy with my dryer.
