Meister Mesh Duffel Backpack Dive Bag w/Dry Pocket for Scuba & Snorkeling

I purchased this as my MMA bag. Meister does make an MMA bag, but this dive bag has better straps so the bag can be carried over the shoulder or as a backpack, and the current MMA bag only has shorter tote handles (why!!!). From the pictures, the MMA bag has miserably tiny side zip pockets for personal gear, and this dive bag has one larger waterproof one, which fits what I need. I was able to fit two pairs of boxing gloves, headgear, mouthguard, wraps, shin guards, wrestling shoes, my gi, kneepads, first aid kit, and towel. There is plenty of room in there for an extra set of clothes and other gear. This bag is HUGE but is also light and squishes down so it doesn't look enormous. You cannot see your gear through the dark mesh. I could fit inside this bag, but it is not unwieldy at all. I just received this today, so I can't testify to it's durability. It does seem to be well made. The mesh is thick and looks like it will hold up to some abuse. I'd add a keychain loop and ring on the inside of the side pocket.

I really like this bag. I can fit all my gear inside. It doesn’t open at unwanted times like open top duffels I’ve had with the drawstring. Opens wide so I can easily fit stuff. the waterproof compartment is nice to keep dry clothes during a dive. Lightweight, easy to clean. The zipper doesn’t appear as heavy duty as others I’ve had. So we will see. But so far so good. **edit** 7 months later and still going strong. I just came back to buy a second for my second set of gear and am sad to see it’s now unavailable :( hope they are back in stock sometime

Decent bag, I actually quite like it, the only negative was my zipper broke pretty quickly, but I continued to use the bag and did eventually buy another one. I use it to hold my scuba diving gear and it fits my BCD, fins, wetsuit, mask, weights and all my random small things.

Love this bag! I'm a divemaster on and off the boat a lot. I need a gear back that will be easy to pack, carry, stay closed, and lightweight but strong. I really dislike the bags with drawstring at the top because they always seem to come undone while walking. This bag works well for scuba gear and the perfect size to carry for a woman (I'm 5'2"). I love the versatility of the shoulder straps or backpack style while still getting the ease of loading like a duffel bag instead of stuffing from the top. It's nice that it has a dry bag on one end and a small zippered pocket on the inside. I was able to fit my BCD, fins, regulator bag, mask container, and a 5 mm wetsuit with no problem. Highly recommend!

This is a well designed and well made bag for carrying scuba equipment or just about any other sports equipment. The mesh fabric drains rapidly and the outside pocket remains kind of dry. (I wouldn't put my phone in it without it being in some type of waterproof storage). We've used it to hold 2 pairs of scuba fins, masks, booties, and other gear and it still has plenty of room without being bulky. It offers two ways to carry, one like a backpack and the other using the backpack handles as a tote. The only small detail on the bag I would change would be to have the shoulder straps unclip so they could lay flat (the same type of clips that are on a BC shoulder.

These bags are amazing dive bags. They fit (at least) all the gear you need for one person in each bag. I am also able to fit a few different wetsuits and some smaller items. There is a water resistant pocket inside that I have yet to have water leak into, and the drainage/breathability of the rest of the bag is pretty good. Just buy it already!

By far the best mesh bag I have purchased thus far!!! Yes it actually is a mesh bag. The sides are constructed with multiple layers of mesh that are layered so as to keep the contents of the bag concealed!!! It doesn’t seem to interfere with air flow or prevent any drying. The exterior upper pocket is large enough to store all those extras that you might not want to get wet. Seem to actually be water proof!!! I was able to store my post dive hoodie in it during a rain shower and had a perfectly dry hoodie to put on after my dive. Great construction, super convenient, and at a really great price!!!

I loved this bag, comfortable, packs flat and small, drys well, and has a drybag pocket built in. after a few dive trips this gearbag sat in my garage through the pandemic, after pulling it out the zipper has completely fused with corrosion. I should have lubricated the zipper, or it should have been designed with anti corrosion material. I had to cut the bag open to get my gear out. I might buy another and use silicone lubricant on the zipper.

Big enough for 2 lots of snorkle gear, pl7s towels etc
