Jurassic World Toys Amber Collection Velociraptor

This guy is the coolest! I grew up with the JP films and this really brings back the memories. The body has joints all over it so it can move in all sorts of directions and can be posed in pretty much any position which would be amazing for making a stop-motion film or just for a kid to play with. I would’ve gone crazy for this when I was ten or so but now that I’m older it’s a great figure to display on my shelf. It comes with a display stand which is nice for collectors or just if you want to play with it.

This is easily my favorite Amber Collection figure mainly because I love the design of the male raptor in JP3. This figure captures the look of the male raptor quite well, it’s not totally screen accurate but it’s still good nevertheless. However, be aware that this figure has the worse quality control issues among all the raptors within the Amber Collection. I’ve seen broken jaws, horribly misaligned jaws, and warped jaws from this figure from other collectors. Luckily, mine doesn’t seem to have major issues aside from the visual metal hinge in the jaw and the jaw being slightly off centered. I managed to get this for around $33, so somewhat around MSRP. Don’t overpay for this figure and wait for a decent deal to pop up, it’s a solid figure but the horrible quality control issues are something to be aware of.

The stand came broken, need a new one and i thibk here is where you ask to get things shipped back or extra parts? Overall good figure for 30 dollars

Exactly what I was expecting from this figure series, accurate sculpts and plenty of articulation. I had been worried Mattel wouldn't have a custom head sculpt for this raptor, but I'm happy they did not.I do wish the "Raptor Squad" had different head sculpts, since two of them have features more like this raptor.Other than the read being a bit faint on the hands and feet, and something odd with the neck-to-torso joint, it's exactly what I was waiting for.

I collect Dino figures and was very interested about this one. Although it is still clearly a mass produced figure, it has great joints that hold their pose, a soft pliable tail (wire inside) and very unique articulation for a cheaper price point. Definitely worth it!

This was delivered today and I haven't even opened it yet but I'm stunned. He's so gorgeous, Mattel have truly outdone themselves with this! Not only do the colors look great, but he even has his crests! If you're a jp3 fan or even if you just love the designs from that movie, you're sure to love this. Super happy with my purchase!
