The material and craftsmanship while poor, performs adequately well and is of a more than reasonable price. With a generic strap, cheap split ring and cap, much to my surprise that the lobster clasps just by themselves are worth the price. I recently just bought 10 lobster clasps for $4-ish and were of terrible quality. Just pulling on the lever would risk breaking the entire thing. For half the price, I got much better set of clasps as well as the bonus of the straps I needed.Going by the picture and description, I did not expect these clasps to come-with, so I'm not only satisfied, but just very may buy another 10.I used the straps to string charms to my PSP and 3DS.

These straps are exactly as I expected. I don't know how some of the reviewers expected them to hold a cell phone. They don't look like they are that big in the photo, unless the photo has changed since their reviews.The cords are small, perfect for the tiny electronic locator I put on my keychain. They're also a good size for the charms that go on cell phones or for small thumb drives.Another inconsistency: maybe different vendors provided different straps, but the ones I received have split rings. They look sturdy enough. So far, I have no complaints.This was a good value. I'm impressed and would buy them again, but that won't be for a long while. I only needed one cord. I now have ten.

I purchased these rings/straps to attach to flash drives since the companies have stopped including them in with the drives! They easily attach to the small opening on the flash drive and the ring is small but I am able to clip it onto my keys. I know a lot of people do not necessarily want to do this, but I am a teacher and use a lot of different classrooms and having the drive on my keys is the only way I am sure to not leave the drive in whatever computer I happen to be on!I could not believe how cheap these were, especially since they were shipped from Hong Kong! I would give these 5 stars to be used with flash drives but the item says they are for Cell Phones and I am not sure if they would be strong enough to hold a heavy cell phone - so I am giving them 4 stars. I have no concerns using them with my flash drives and since I have 10 of them, I will either give some to friends, or have enough to last me through the next few drives I get! Just be aware that it took a few weeks for them to arrive, but I am not really complaining because they cost less than $1 and they shipped from HK! Worth the wait for the price. I would reorder if I needed more!

I have numerous amount of USB thumb drives which all have the little loop on them. However, do to cost cutting, they don't come with them any longer. So I decided to purchase some for myself. I have a USB drive that is thumb nail size. This one has the smallest loop of them all but with the help of a paperclip, i was able to get the strap in. This allows me to remove the drive from my PC with little trouble. They are not too long about 2 inches, so they are the perfect size The price for 10 wasn't much more than the price for 1, so it made sense and I have extra in case one breaks.Though the scheduled arrival date was a few weeks back from what I wanted but it did come within that time without an issue. All 10 appear to be in good shape and are not damaged upon arrival. They came in a small clear zip bag, within a large shipping envelope.

I like that they're nice and flexible. I have a very simple keyring: My housekey, and a digital key fob thingy. It keeps the fob from getting lost. I doubled up on them just to make sure. It's better than having a little chain or whatnot.

This was exactly what I needed for keeping flash drives on my key chain. I keep plenty of flash drives around for all sorts of work stuff. I like to keep the drive of the day on my key chain. Many don't have a hole big enough for a split ring. These leashes will fit most any flash drive.They are much longer than what I need but that is easily remedied. Just remove the split ring, push the knot up through the end of the silver part, tie the knot down lower, cut the excess, pull it back through, and reinstall the split ring.My only complaint is the split ring. It only overlaps itself by half. I wish it was two rings thick all the way around. But, it seems to be a very strong and stiff ring for its size.The strap measures about 1 7/8" long. The overall length is about 2 3/8". The split ring is about 5/16" in diameter.

These are great for flash drives and other small things you may want to put on a key ring or lanyard. Or just adding a little bit of size to those supper compact flash drives just begging to be lost. I am currently putting these on all my USB drives since they no longer come with them. They are trivial to install, just push the loop of string into the appropriate spot of your drive, I do believe all flash drives come with a loop for a lanyard or a strap such as this. Plus you get ten of them for next to nothing, so you can't really go wrong with buying a set or two to have around in case a need ever arises or just to throw on any flash drives you have laying around, you know, for old times sake.

Brilliant value. Solid enough for its purpose. Neither over, nor under engineered. I love having a flash drive on me again (the silly things no longer come with any means of attaching them to your bag/keys). I also used one to attach a pompom to my tough case for a while (before finally deciding the convenience just wasn't worth the cringe). I found it durable enough to comfortably drag the weight of my smart phone without any concern, though I'd double check the springs every few weeks if you're dragging your phone from the depths of your backpack via this cable a lot. Overall shipping was speedy, value was great, quality was great. Happy customer.

Happy with my purchase, I've added these to various trinkets I have at home and they look lovely as phone charms- heck I even turned an old keycharm (which was missing the connector ring because I removed it) into a lovely phone charm which I happily have with my other two charms. I may try using lobster claw ones next time just to see what they're like.

Do exactly what they need to - I am using these to hold USB drives on my key-chain.They're a bit thinner then I feel comfortable with, but they're small enough to fit 2 loops through one tunnel so I just use 2 per USB.
