Great quality and formatting
There are some really great things about this diary.Formatting: I like that there’s sufficient space for notes (I probably won’t use some added pages- such as bill tracker). I personally prefer dotted pages for notes, so this is ideal for me. I think there are other options (lined etc) available from the same seller. All in all, the pages very neatly designed with shading over the weekend, a whole month view to kick off the new month, and plenty of space for brainstorming/ writing notes.Quality: the general build is good, but with some creaking in the spine when opening it fully (resolving with time and use). According to the seller the paper is 100gsm, which I can believe. The paper feels thick and my most inky of pens (a Muji fountain pen with waterman black ink) doesn’t bleed through. You can faintly see writing on the other side if you try hard enough (try spotting it in the notes section in the attached photo). This holds up really well against previous moleskines I’ve owned, where much less inky pens have bled through.Other reviews mentioned the elastic band coming off- I haven’t experienced this. Either way, the band itself is a positive rather than a necessity for me. The bookmark (two in this case) is a lot more useful. All in all, great value for money given the exceptional quality and nice formatting. I would just say the only thing lacking is a wider collection of designs for the cover.

Love it but bring back the A4 one!
A brilliant diary. I LOVE IT. It has a week to view on each double page spread with the opposite page laid out as a note page but with dots rather than ruled lines. I nearly didn't buy this one as I thought the cover was a bit drab (the only style in the layout I wanted) but what you can't see is that the pattern has silver foil in the middle of the leopard spots.I discovered Boxclever diaries last year, had a wonderful A4 one which was perfect for planning our family's events and keeping track of meal plans, organising events etc. Tried to buy the same again and it seems they don't make them anymore BUT this is the exact same style diary in an A5 format. I'm sure it will prove to be just as useful as my old one.

Too small
Previously used the A4 version, was hoping the A5 would work. Had to re-order an alternative as was too small to fit all that was needed in it.A4 version was perfect, but no longer available to order :-(

Perfect
Plenty of space to write notes, reminders etc, smart and sturdy looks lovely. The pages inside are not plain boring white there’s colour. I love it

Elastic broke and I've only open it 3 times!
The elastic has broken and I've only opened it 3 times. I've already written in it so I can't return it.

I’ve had this diary for 10 days and the elastic has broken already!
This diary is just what I wanted and I was delighted with it initially but the elastic has broken within 10 days. I’ve probably opened it about five times since purchase and I haven’t put anything in the pocket yet so it hasn’t been over stretched just badly made. I’ve written in it so I can’t return it. So cross I have to spend a year with it broken!
