I was given a Cub Cadet LT1050 Lawn Tractor that had been left sitting up for a handful of years. Took it to a local mechanic that changed the oil and filter, oil grommet, idler pulley, spark plugs, fuel filter and air filter and he "cleaned" the carburetor. When I got the mower back, it initially ran well. Ran out of gas, filled her back up and started another run. Well, got on a slight slope while mowing the ditch. I guess some left over bad gas or trash got into the fuel line and made its way to the carb. After that...the mower began to rev up and down back and forth and also started to backfire. At first it was intermittent but then gradually became very persistent and consistent. I heavily researched to make sure that this carburetor was an exact match with what came with the mower. Installed it and the mower runs WELL. Highly recommend this!

Worth the money

Was glad to be able to find this carburetor. Better do your research on the engine manufacturers site first. The original carb part number was superceded by this carbs part number. Also I couldn't be sure just by the engine model number so like I said better do your parts number searching first to make sure you get the right carburetor. Otherwise it came with everything needed plus extra odds n ends. Once installed it worked good right out of the box.
