House of Plants: Living with Succulents, Air Plants and Cacti

This book is so beautifully designed and written. It not only introduces you some of the most common indoor plants and the caring, with beautiful pictures, but also many things that make living with plants full of inspiration and creativity, such as making pots yourself.What I personally love the most about the book is its minimalist layout and the author's genuine voice. The minimalist design (especially with that calming grey-ish green color) makes it very easy and relaxing to read. And the voice of the author feel very intimate, as if you can see their personality and sense their love for greens - a passion expressed in a very gentle and soothing way. In speaking their values about living with plants - about creating a sanctuary at home, about creativity, inspiration and being curious, about reminder of the outside world, and the connections with people - it feels like their words are helping me understand some parts of myself. In their words the plants come to live, and I come to life as well.I cant express how much I love this book. I keep it by my bed and read it once in a while in my leisure time. Placing it on my lap, with my hands gently flipping the pages, carefully studying details of plants or materials or the home design in the pictures, it almost feels like a meditation to read it; everything just slows down.I highly recommend this book!

I love this book and reference to it all the time. I found it so helpful I even bought my best friend one for her birthday. As a fairly new plant mami, I find this book helpful when looking for plant DIY ideas, how to care for plants, how to decorate with/place plants in the home. The photography in this book is also very inspiring and calming.

This book has a gorgeous, slightly textured cover that I love! Details and photos within are beautiful, and it provides good (general) care information on some, but not all indoor plants. The content for care focuses more on recommended plants that are more durable.

Useful book to a beginner of indoor gardening. Fun ideas and with instructions on how to make them. Would recommend if someone has seen enough inspirations online and wants to get a book for trusted information.

I love this book! It has the most gorgeous photos of plants!

I started to have some house plants since I moved home recently, and bought some succulents, airplanes, and tropical house plants. This was the only book I found that includes some guidance for all of these three kinds! Very happy I bought it because it has a good overall guidance to care those plants as a beginner. The photos and designs are very pretty so it makes a great coffee table book too.

Best book I've ever bought.Since moving to London I've always missed having a garden. My flat is like a jungle now thanks to this book, it's full of great care tips & has some beautiful photographs, too.Great coffee table book!

I bought this book as I now have a big collection of succulents and still collecting, I find the book has a lot of good ideas also information about caring for your treasures.I feel confident now as much as I enjoy these types of plants.May even try air plants, will add to this if so.

Beautifully illustrated and stylish book but disappointed with content. Was more style over substance. Looks fabulous on the coffee table but that's it.

A stunning book in every way. Beautifully structured...stunning photographs, wonderful advice all mixed into a personal journey. Cannot recommend this book enough!!
