Best compression socks EVER!
I cannot say how much I love these socks. They were recommended to me by a nurse who says she wears them daily, and I can see why. I've tried all the well-known brands of support hose, and they invariably bunch up or slide down, look funky, and just plain aren't comfortable. These feel like socks, yet provide the light compression I need. The XL size fits my calves (which are XL) AND my ankles (which are proportionately smaller except when swollen). I use a sock-puller, and they work like a dream with it. They are much easier to get off than regular compression hose. I wish the XL size came in some of the fun colors and patterns that the smaller sizes do, but black, navy, and beige go with pretty much anything I would wear to work.

Five stars for comfort, fit, and ease to put on
I ordered the large as my calves are close to 18". I am 72. Restless legs is a problem for me, and am super sensitive to anything "touching" my legs. After trying several brands, these won out for comfort, fit, and ease to put on. If you can put on a crew sock ok, this should be no more of a problem but you do need some strength to open the bottom to get the foot in. If the legs are dependent all day and swelling is a problem, I would not recommend for the light compression they provide. For air travel, I chose a different brand with more compression. I love these, and have ordered a second pair, with plans to order more.

Light but sturdy compression -- easy to put on and COMFORTABLE!
I bought one pair at the home medical section of a pharmacy and really liked the socks (bought a tan pair). I have ordered one more tan and 3 more white from Amazon because I liked them and they weren't so hard to put on. I wear them to go shopping and for long days away from home where I might have to do a lot of sitting or walking. They help my ankles not to swell so much due my low pulse rate. They can be washed in a washing machine in warm or cold water and I put them in a mesh wash bag so I won't forget to NOT PUT THEM IN THE DRYER. Then I just hang them on a plastic hanger to dry - they are practically dry after taking out of the washer as I put the load on HIGH speed extra spin after running the wash cycle (I use Permanent Press in an LG front load washer). The are comfortable and you don't even notice you are wearing them. They have about a 2 inch long toe area - no squeezing or tightness - not a compression area. I buy the Therafirm Core-SpunTherafirm LIGHT Medical Compression Socks - Knee High Sock (White, XL 10-15mmHg). I wear size 13 medium Women's shoes.

Women's sizing relative to shoe size
Too large because there is no chart for SML size relative to shoe size. I got differing opinions from the question I submitted for my women's 9.5M foot and decided to go with the large - a mistake. Some responses said to buy medium, some said to buy large. Here is what the box says for women's sizing:S up to size 9M 9.5 - 12 (You can see why a large is "too large" for my 9.5 foot)L 12 + upThese are wonderful socks if I had just had a guide for which size to buy. If they are too large, you don't get the support you need!

Great socks, unfortunately expensive!
Love these socks; very comfortable, stretchable, warm, and perfect thickness, but very expensive! For the price one would expect to receive 2 pair, but they are Made in the USA so I suppose you must pay for that. I hope to order more in the future when I can afford to.

Good. Good. Good.
Best pressure socks. My mom can put them on herself! Please say that out loud. Put them on herself!I've purchased lots of socks that were so tight that they were unusable. Mom needed the hands of a teenager to put them on her 82 year old legs.Washed well.

Comfort
They are not nylon. I find the nylon type like some of the copper fit ones uncomfortable. I don't think they are cotton but they feel like cotton. They stay up and fit well. I have used this brand for years, about 5 years. I am still wearing the ones from 5 years ago. I did have one sock that came undone in the heel I sewed it back together but what do you expect after 5 years. I wear them daily

I like them.
Received my socks very quickly. Not having ever worn compression stockings and not knowing what to expect, I liked the feel of them, they look heavy but don't feel heavy. They did slip down a little but no problem. Definitely kept my calves from swelling. Now need to find their other types of compressions sock. Very happy with my purchase.
