Will this connect directly via bt to a macbook pro or is a usb dongle needed?

Will connect via Bluetooth or a USB Logi Bolt dongle. I’m using the Bolt dongle on a Mac mini M1 and Bluetooth on a MacBook Air M1. Fine with either really, although Bolt dongles not quite fully available in great quantities and at decent cost yet.

It is not detected by laptop hp pavilion dv7 3080us, any idea why ?

You need to check which version of Bluetooth your PC has. It will not work with old versions

Does the mx mini use a dongle, or can i connect it directly to my laptop's bluetooth? i don't want a dongle, if i wanted dongles i'd by apple.
