I give the rug a five-star rating because it deserves it. I was really surprised at how good the rug is right out of the package (it was packaged very well too). Because this rug is relatively less expensive than many other listings of natural sheepskin rugs on Amazon and elsewhere, I wasn't expecting much. But it turned out to be thick, soft, fluffy, plush, and luxurious all over. Many years ago I have purchased another natural sheepskin rug from Amazon described to be of the same size as this one (I got the 2'*6' one), but this one is definitely much bigger in its actual size. It's hands-down a high-quality, high-value purchase if you want a nice natural sheepskin rug. I also love how beautiful the natural creamy white color is. Now, the story takes a turn. It does have a "natural and organic" smell as mentioned in many other reviews. The smell itself is not repulsive. I don't know how long it will take for it to air out (my last rug never really got rid of the smell, but it was not a big issue since I put it on the floor. I lost the rug in cross country moving.) But now I have a cat! My cat just couldn't resist tackling the rug the moment it was laid on the floor. She probably imagined herself to be a lion or a tiger who just caught some big prey. She couldn't stop kicking and biting the rug, trying to tear it apart. She came back to it a few times after breaks already. And this is day one. I am guessing this smell does stimulate some instinctive call from her genes. In a few short moments, she managed to tear off quite some fur from the edge of the rug... The rug still looks fine since I just received it today. I am not sure how long it will last with my cat though. Before ordering, I thought about this possibility and googled whether cats and sheepskin rugs can co-exist. I got many cute picture results showing angelic cats resting contently in the long and soft sheepskin fur, looking totally adorable and peaceful. Many articles say that natural rugs calm our fluffy friends down. Well, I told myself "perfect!" Win-win for me and my cat. Now, here we are, the beginning of my cat's conquest of an imaginary lamb (which was a real lamb.) I cannot even return it since it has already been damaged by my cat... In the worst case, this rug would become a really expensive cat entertainment piece that would eventually be destroyed....:((( I even started feeling guilty for buying animal-based products - but then comforted myself by remembering reading somewhere that cow and lamb leather goods come from animals that would be slaughtered for meat consumption anyways. My cat is already eating canned food containing Australian lamb, etc, etc. Really need to stop the thoughts. So this is my review. Beautiful rug of excellent quality and unbeatable value, unless you have a cat(s).

Bought one for the chairs. My cat stole it within seconds and officially claimed the chair as his own. I ordered a second one — not sure if it’s for my other cat or if I’ll ever get to sit on one myself. Excellent quality sheepskin — thick, soft, and looks gorgeous. If your pets approve it instantly, you know it’s good. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I've purchased the same looking rug for less and had to return them especially after already having one from LLB - don't even try to find a better deal for the quality - this is the brand to buy! By far, one of the best purchases ever, Amazon! Quality, as in extremely well made (or harvested?) and quantity, as in huge thickness/plushness, softness, durability and maintainability, etc.. The delivery was the day after I ordered it and I was so excited when I opened it out of the package. Had to fluff it up a bit, but it's just beautiful! Also it forced me to buy the match pillow cover, so yes, if you buy this rug, you have to buy the pillow cover - just saying..... Thank you Amazon! (BTW, it looks even better than the advertised photo and that's a great photo)

Beautiful fur rug 🥰 Love it! Nice pile of fur with no thin spots, feels amazing, not stinky at all. Great value for the money. Doesnt slide all over the place when stepped on. Looking forward to the day I can buy another one

I bought this July 11. It arrived super quickly. I opened the vacuumed sealed bag right away and the first thing I noticed was a super strong smell. A little Farty., but mostly a strong pork rind. The fart smell went away but the pork rinds lingered. I thought it was funny. I told my kids to sniff it and they did. And it made me laugh at how grossed out they’d get. My two year old LOVES this little rug. I had it on his changing table up by his head for a while. It is super soft! I originally bought it for when we moved I was going to put it on the piano bench. But right now it’s on the back of the sofa. I am planning on buying more. I’d like to put one on my floor by my bed so the first thing my feet feel in the morning is the luxurious coat of a dead sheep. They are a good quality even with the funny smell. It is now September and if you give it a big sniff with a face full of fur you can still smell the pork rinds but it’s pretty faint. As most people would use this for a rug or to sit on I think it’s safe to say your feet or butt won’t notice the smell. I love the size. It’s similar to the ones ikea sells but this one feels really lush. The skin is strong/sturdy feeling as well. I don't see this little sheepy getting damaged from normal wear and tear. I think baa baa will last us a long time.

This is a beautiful sheepskin. Full, lush and so soft to the touch. I’ve bought a few of them over the years and spent twice as much money and got half of the quality. This is a great rug for even twice the price. Color was beautiful also.

The carpet is visually nice but uneven when you step or touch it. The fur is thin on the side and thicker in the middle. Doesn’t look like pictures. Got it to kneel down for 🙏 so my knees would hurt. Thought it was thicker

Super douce, bonne grandeure, ca fait 6 que j'achète, toujours la même qualité, quand elle arrive attendez quelques jours, elle va s'aérer, gonfler, elle reviendra extra douce très agréable, le mouton australien est de meilleur qualité de mouton pour les peaux, la plus confortable, le prix est parfait, la présentation lors de la livraison, je donne un 10 sur 10 ils font tout pour nous livrer une peau de qualité merci! , LLb est une bonne compagnie dans son crénau

Jolie petite peau de mouton verte. Je dois cependant avouer avoir été déçu en la recevant et avoir voulu la retourner puisque je lui ai trouvée somme toute peu d’intérêt avec ses poils raides aplatis. Je lui ai néanmoins accordée une chance en voulant lui enlever les plis de boîte en la mouillant légèrement et en la séchant à température moyenne au séchoir à cheveux. Le processus lui a redonnée son frisé naturel qui lui procure une texture et des reflets très intéressants. Suite à ce petit traitement capillaire en douceur, elle est maintenant un bel ajout et vient s’harmoniser à un coussin en laine de mouton Mongol à poils longs frisé bleu gris clair en offrant un bel équilibre dans mon décor de salle à manger avec deux fauteuils en cuir taupe contemporains qui trônent de chaque côté du buffet. Adorable et voyez selon vos besoins si la version frisée ou défrisée vous convient le mieux. Ne pas mouillée et séchée si vous la préférez… cheveux raides. ☺️

Very impressed. Came well and safely packaged. Looks rich and full. No bad odour, kinda has a shampoo smell.
