I love these things! I previously had an entire setup that synced with my computer to do all sorts of crazy RGB effects, but it was a pain the set up and the cable management was a nightmare. After a while I got tired of it and decided to go for something more minimal. Luminoodles are perfect!! Plugs right into the monitor, easy to apply, and decent enough color options that I don't feel like I'm missing out on customizability. I'd recommend these to anyone who is looking for the best no-hassle bias lighting for their setup. Can't beat it for the price

This isn’t the fanciest RGB strip but it’s perfect for my needs. Places behind my monitor, super simple installation if you follow the instructions! Pre-measure and lay it out with painters tape before applying. Very well priced and nice bright led’s to be used as bias lighting. Powered by my monitors USB port so no need for a power source or additional cables. Absolutely perfect.

These lights are absolutely amazing so far. Not sure what the lifespan will be, but its LED so I'm assuming a long time or at least hoping so. I would have given it 5 stars in every field, but when I ordered it, based on pictures, I was expecting the "s" shaped strand for the lights. Not a huge ordeal as it was still fairly simple to set up, but the "s" looks better and easier to work with and I didn't really like having to adjust the corners and fold it over itself since you had to be very specific on placement or you would end having to work around folding too close to one of the LED's, which wasn't easy. The USB plugin to onboard remote control to the beginning of the first light was way too long. I had to stretch it out and start from the opposite side of the monitor from the USB port just to stop the controller from hanging down underneath. 1 out of 2 of the remotes was dead on arrival. Not a big deal since the remote synced up with both lights that I have on each monitor. Other than that the length of the lights covered around the entire back of the monitors perfectly. I only had to clip the last 1-2 lines from the strip so it didn't cross over itself. I would definitely buy these again though for all of my future monitors/tvs as it makes a world of difference. It brightens up the room so you don't need to invest in a bunch of lights and really helps reduce eye fatigue compared to sitting in the dark.

These work surprisingly well and have plenty of configuration with the remote. I wish they made a black cable version.

I've had this for a little over a week and have played around with all the different colors. I gotta say the orange/yellow is my go to backlight. The white is beautiful but I have some insomnia issues and the white tended to keep me more awake prior to bedtime. I bought the medium with the wireless remote and 15 colors for my 55" and it covers about 3/4 of the back installed about 4" inside the exterior edge. My tv is on a stand so the size is perfect. My tv has 2 USB ports. When I used port 1 the remote wouldn't work. Port 2 works great but neither of them power on/off with the tv so I'm really glad I got the unit with the multiple color options and remote. I also tried tucking the remote transmitter tight to the tv and found the remote had difficulty communicating but when I let it hang naturally it works perfectly. If you are on the fence about purchasing go for it, you'll be glad you did. The photos show some of the available colors (which are also dimable) my walls aren't white so the white leds come across slightly green in the photos but they really are white.

I have these installed on a 27inch Asus monitor (PG279Q) that has two USB ports on the back/bottom. They turn on and off with my PC. I had to change an option in my bios to have the USB ports turn off when I put my PC to seep otherwise they would stay on (Changed the ERP option from "Off" to "S5"). The lights are connected to a USB 3.0 port on the back/bottom of the monitor so I think they have enough power. USB 2.0 ports or the ports on a TV may give issues if they don't supply enough power. These lights require 1A of power and some USB ports only provide around 500mA of power. I like that the colors seem to match my keyboard/mouse lights very well so it really ties the gaming PC setup together nicely for gaming in the dark. The remote works fine and doesn't seem to require line of site. Though I just set it to one color and brightness and it remembers my setting when they turn back on so I never really need to touch the remote.

I really like the product itself. I purchased for two monitors and a tv (medium length), and they work great so far. I'm giving 3 stars instead of 4 or 5 only because my monitors don't power them; I have to have them plugged into other USB ports (on my docking station) to use them. The lights turn on and off with the TV, so that's really nice. Also, both strips around my monitors can be controlled using one remote, which is really convenient.

At some point, it appears Power Practical updated the Luminoodles to have much better color accuracy, particularly where blue is concerned. The one I just purchased July 2024 has a true blue hue while the previous version I purchased (November 2023) is closer to a cyan. I ran through the other colors via remote and found much of the 2023's versions to be extremely dull and not comparable in quality to the 2024 upgrade. Great for my 2024 one, but now I'll have to purchase a new one to replace the old one due to the extremely noticeable color inaccuracy.

I am quite amazed at how much of an improvement these lights make. I purchased a size smaller than suggested on purposed and attached to the top and sides at the back of the screen. It doesn't seem necessary to have the lights continue along the bottom. I used the remote to bring the lights to full brightness and that was easier than using the control on the light itself. Once the full brightness is on its great, especially at night when the rest of my room lights are down. Love it.

Gutes und vorallem sehr helles Licht. Die Fernbedienung hat eine gute Reichweite.Das Anbringen an meinen Monitor war ein wenig umständlich da es ein ganzer stripe war, könnte aber evtl. daran liegen das es nur ein 2m Kabel war.

Cumple perfectamente para pantallas de hasta 32". Buen adhesivo y muchas opciones de configuración.
