Lexar Professional CFexpress Type B USB 3.2 Gen 2x2 Reader, Up to 1700MB/s Read, Designed for CFexpress Type B Cards (LRW550U-RNBNU)

Needed a card reader as new camera uses CF express type B cards. This Lexar card reader works great with both usb A and C (usb c adaptor is attached to standard usb so all in one cable). Very fast transfer even with my fairly old Dell laptop and works OK connecting to my panasonic tv.

First I was a little apprehensive as I thought it may not work on Mac . Ordered it and was slightly not surprised to see after it would be shipped from the USA but it arrived quickly and was able to track . The quality of this is reall top notch the design once again 5 star product . When it comes to reading , first I was very relieved when on connecting to my mini Mac it was recognised immediately and the speed it read my card was very impressive and they were safely sorted into Lightroom Really worth the wait and the price . So impressed I may get another for my bag when out in the field

I made the mistake of buying a cheaper non-Lexar model with which I had problems with the read speeds/buffering (despite claims on advert) I got fed up with it so did some research and came upon this Lexar product which had good reviews on Photography websites. I wish I'd just chosen this in the first place, the quality is great and most importantly the read (and write) speeds are terrific and I don't see any buffering when loading/attempting to view large amounts of photos on my Macbook.

I bought this for transferring files to my laptop from a CF Express Type B card. It works perfectly - is always seen by the MacBook first time (I often have to insert SD cards directly into the Laptop multiple times before they are 'seen'). This is the first time I've used CF Express Type B cards and I'm not sure if it's just the card or the reader as well, but the transfer speed is so incredibly fast that sometimes you miss the pop up and think it hasn't worked.

The unit is well presented in packaging and form , it works after a fasion, destroying many photo's . with heavy colour banding to the extent of being useless. unfortunatly due to delays in recieving the Z8 the returns period ran ouy. so now another paper weight adorns the wokd desk. would I buy again, Hell NO!

Just Works, fast with Lightroom Classic/ Apple / Nikon Z9 Camera, CF Type B express cards,, noticeably heavy and reassuring, came for the US, Note USB Gen 2 x 2!! important, forget the Cheap rubbish from China

A very high quality product and cheaper than the one from transcend which cost more. Love the finish!

Bought this to transfer from my 512GB Sabrent CFe, blazing speeds when transfering a day's dance competition. Allows me to get working on the files so much quicker than when I was using SD cards..
