Have had this a while and so have only just got round to writing a review. Very solid frying, marketed as a omelette pan, with wooden handle. ** Key to ensuring you don't burn your food is to heat the pan through first, do the water sizzle bubble test and then put in your oil/butter whatever then food.....turns it into a non-stick without the nasty chemicals. Very happy with it, have sink washed it due to the wooden handle. Has large capacity so ideal for cooking off large quantities of food.

Do not buy this pan if you will cook acidic food like tomato/sauce or lime/lemons. Because it is aluminium will release metals to the food you're cooking. Also they do not do refunds I only took the labels of the pan and they only will refund 20%.

Ilove this pan it is great for all my cooking needs. Great for browning meat, frying & making curries. It is very sturdy & robust & cleans very easily. I am delighted with this purchase & have bought another one in a different size. All in all a very useful pan.

The plastic label that other customers had difficulty in removing I found no problem. The art is to use your fingernail to ease one of the corners and make sure the glue is still attached to the plastic side and not the pan. If the glue residue starts to stick to the pan then ease another corner of the label and try slowly peeling it back. You should find that the glue more or less sticks to the label. Do not wash the pan to remove the label as this will definitely stick the glue to the pan on removal of the sticker. I have used the pan to make a dhal and I soaked it after use in the sink of water for about 5 mins and it needed a slight wash with a scotbrite pad.( Not Brillo type) It has come out like new again. Disappointment that there was no lid had to purchase separately on Amazon with the dimensions of the pan. I bought the biggest one at 28cm. Wooden handle is in two pieces held together by strong rivots as well as the handle attaching to the pan. It is a heavy pan and I am sure it will last many a year. Would I recommend?? Yes!!!
