A Sunday morning ritual in our home for many years, blueberry pancakes with real maple syrup start our day with a great breakfast. I make 'em on old cast-iron pans like my grandmother used to use. Leaf lard, like this one, is the absolute best for keeping my pans non-stick and contributing to great tasting buttermilk pancakes. If you haven't tried true leaf lard in your cooking, you're missing something very, very good. I'll be a repeat customer for this Fatworks leaf lard!!

I have tried other brands of lard before and was never satisfied. I bought this brand and am extremely pleased. I will definitely purchase this again. It made my homemade biscuits delicious and flaky!!

When I was a child we rendered our pork fat for the lard. I love cooking with it. But I just couldn't get arond the aroma of this lard - and yes, others have posted it is more pleasant to smell. Taste is great. And I hate giving less than stellar review, but for me it just won't work. This is nothing against the product, nor the company. It's simply that my sniffer does not dance well with this product.

This may sound really strange, but I actually wash with this. After the power outage here in Texas I realize how much I love this stuff. I use it in the shower to wash with. It locks in moisture but at the same time kills bad bacteria leaving you with a clean feeling and no BO!! I ran out just before the power outage and had to wash with soap needless to say I’ll be buying them in packs of 3 from now on. I work overnight and this has vitamin D in it which is beneficial to my skin and vitamin D deficiency.

There were several attempts made to deliver this item to my home and it had to be resent more than once . Customer service was very helpful and responded promptly when notified. The product was well worth my perseverance.

I haven't used any yet, but when I inspected the jar, I noticed the lard at the very bottom was brown, and the jar had a significant empty area on the side to about halfway down. It also has a funny texture, not smooth like the previous jar I bought, which was the same brand but not organic like this. If it tastes off I will add another review.
