A Pocketful of Songs: book and CD featuring ten fabulous picture-book songs by Julia Donaldson

This CD and book are enjoyed by all of us, particularly 2.5 year old.The songs are musical versions of some of the brilliant stories by Julia Donaldson, a master of words.My granddaughter has been through a lot of upheaval recently. Bedtimes were chaotic and we had resorted to a ‘sleepy’ book which was helpful. However, this CD is now played every night, has a calming effect. Parts of certain songs can be heard whilst R is pottering. She has lots of questions relating to the The Highway Rat.I think children from 18 months to….whatever, will enjoy.I didn’t bother reading reviews when I found this book+CD, as familiar with the quality of books by JD and AS, just knew it would be lovely.And it is 👏👏👏👏❤️

A lovely book, all the words as well as the scores. The cd is nice too! Just be aware that the songs aren't the same as the ones on the TV adaptations eg Highway Rat and Superworm.

absolutely a must have for every longer car journey with kids. It’s fantastic!!!
