My dog keeps running off over to the neighbors' and barking at their alpacas. This makes my neighbors hate me. So, the next time she headed over there and I called to her to stop and she didn't, I hit the vibrate. She stopped in her tracks. I said "NO!" Then vibrated her again and told her "Come!" It took a couple vibrations and she realized something weird was happening; it snapped her out of her over-excited state where she doesn't listen. She also went into the pond a bit to drink between chasing the ball and the collar got wet. It is water resistant, however, and continued working thereafter. I'm a pretty happy customer.It does warn you if you have a very aggressive dog not to shock them as this might make them turn around and bite anyone near them.Whatever you do, be sure to test it on yourself before you do it to your dog.

This collar exceeded my expectations. For the price and some of the reviews I read, I wasn't expecting much. I found no problem with the range on my two acre lot. I haven't tried the shock feature. The vibrate seemed to get my dogs attention just fine and I mostly just use the sound function. The battery life seems decent. In a couple of weeks I had my dog trained and now it's no longer needed.

I bought this to help train my cocker spaniel on hiking with me off-leash, as well as preventing him from barking excessively(turned out not to be needed for this). The remote and all of the collars functions seem to work well, though I do feel that the construction could have been better. I certainly wouldn't trust it to be waterproof. For the money, it's a great buy if you need a combination bark/training collar.

VERY happy and pleased with this purchase! Had a lot of complaints from neighbors about my dog's separation anxiety aka his barking/whining/howling. This collar may just have saved me from having to move out. The only thing I dislike about it is that it goes off just from the pup shaking his head or body.EDIT: 1/25/17: Our collars stopped working and we weren't sure why. We contacted the seller and they responded within a few hours. They promptly sent a replacement collar, no questions asked. Great customer service.

It does not give progressive warnings as stated. Instead; it will beep, vibrate, and shock EVERY SINGLE TIME IT IS SET OFF. I don't use the shock though, and the tone warning followed by vibration is effective enough on our Jack Russell. This is probably the only reason I haven't returned it.

I have along haired German Shepherd, it worked some times, but always needed adjusted. It stopped working altogether and I had to return it.

This thing never worked like I thought it should. You had to reprogram it every time you turned it on and instructions were very unclear. Returned it.

It does exactly what it says it supposed to do but the sensitivity on it is very high. If the dogs scratchs, sneezes, or shakes his ears, it'll go off. Which is confusing to for the learning process. Buyer be cautious.
