SavvyStand Laptop Stand, Perfect for Laptop/iPad/Notebook. Light Weight, Foldable, Portable, Adjustable Height Width & Angle.

When looking to purchase a laptop stand, I wanted 2 things: Portability and adjustability. SavvyStand fits the bill perfectly. My only complaint is that it can be hard to make both arms equal height. By default, the solution is to just eyeball things and make sure that your laptop isn't crooked, but it takes a bit of trial and error. I ended up measuring some notches on the arms, and marking them with a sharpie.While this isn't a huge undertaking, it would have been nice if there were either built-in notches or markings out of the box.

I work remotely and, sometimes for months at a time, my 'office' is a table at a local St Arbux or library, &c. I use an external keyboard and mouse most of the time because 2017 MBP. This stand lifts the laptop to exactly the right height, with the screen vertical and the body at a nearly 45º angle. It has stood up to daily (ab)use, in and out of the laptop bag, setting up sometimes at multiple locations in a day. It has never shown any sign of wear & tear and is still just as tightly adjustable as it was when it arrived many months ago!I was a little leery of something like this because I had bought another stand a couple of years ago that just fell apart after a few months of less abuse than this one has taken daily. That other one had been one of those fancy collapsible tripods that looked and felt like it should have lasted decades. Not to mention that the old stand cost at least 3 times as much as this one! This stand sets up in 2 seconds flat, holds its shape well, rarely (as in, once every week or two with daily use) needs re-adjusting or tweaking, and is dead simple to adjust/tweak when needed.I very rarely give full five-star ratings but this product more than deserves it!

Ok, I simply love it. I’m a typist from way back in the days of the typewriter. This is the best thing to happen since sliced bread. I can see this handy and lightweight stand working for holding artist pads, tablets, music keyboards and equipment, and probably a thousand other uses that a gadget-savvy (it's all in the name) person could come up with. The design is so clean and simple, seems to be nothing to it but wow! it works perfectly. I have a 11.6 convertible laptop that sits well and securely while typing, plus, the handles that keep it from sliding are adjustable which means that I don’t have to worry about them bumping into my wrists! I’ve got a larger stand that I use for a 17 inch pc and will soon test it out on this stand to see how it holds up. I really didn’t believe this one would be all that much adjustable when purchasing this. But now I get it. The little brackets in the back slide forward to raise the laptop higher. That works for me even though I haven’t made use of the feature as of yet. To be honest, this is feeling more natural than just about anything else I’ve used with a pc and that makes me happy. What I'm getting at here is that it simplifies things, keeping the workspace neat, raises the screen up to eye level, offers some protection from liquid spills onto the desk, and the most importantly, it allows for open airflow at the bottom and around the pc. Laptops sitting almost flush on a desk where there is a potential for dust, crumbs and spills, or any sort of blocked ventilation is often the cause of overheating and shortened lifespan of the system!Oh yes, I also love how it folds up and can easily slip into a laptop bag without weighing it down at all. Excellent choice! I definitely recommend it!

I bought this for my 15" Macbook Pro. I thought about buying a laptop stand as early as 2 years ago when I saw classmates with them. The improved ergonomics of any laptop stand is undeniable: being able to sit up straighter without hunching down to look at the screen. However, I thought laptops stands were either bulky or complex/busy-looking back then. Fast-forward to now: I randomly checked out what laptop stands existed and stumbled across this one. I can't imagine a more simple design. This not only works, packs and carries well, but it also aesthetically matches the Macbook. It lifts the screen 5.5"-6" up, which makes a big difference. Plus when coupled with the Magic Trackpad and Keyboard, I have the comfort of pushing the screen further away from me which both reduces head flexion and eye strain from near-sight.

This is the perfect laptop stand for me. When I'm in my easy chair, I use it on a lap board, for an even surface to prop it on, and holds my laptop securely and at a great angle that helps prevent wrist strain. I easily transport it with my laptop to other surfaces, such as as the dining room table or my desk--which hardly sees use anymore! Some reviewers have complained that the stand is difficult to adjust, but I haven't found it so. I mostly use it in the 30% position, which is impossible not to set, but even eyeballing it, I have been able to set it different angles quite easily. I have also used it propped on a blue tooth keyboard I use with my cell phone, which again, puts the keyboard at a very convenient angle for typing. This is an ingenious product. and I really, really like it!

This is quite possibly the best purchase I've made for my work/personal computer. It folds easily, weighs almost nothing, and it's compact enough to pack in my backpack. I didn't think it would be as tall as I needed but it depends on the original surface and so far ot has worked out well in every location I have tried. Prior to this I used a shoebox, a wire file box on its side, a small shelf, books aND a bunch of other stuff and overall this is the best thing ever.

EVERYONE asks me about this stand. I mostly work in cafes, and almost every time someone comes up and asks me where I got it (or when they don't, they eye it enviously). I almost want to start asking the manufacturers for commission! It's so light, so easy to fold up and carry around in my backpack, very nicely adjustable, and it's stable on ANY surface (even those annoying tables that have uneven stones etc. on them). Coupled with my portable bluetooth keyboard (that I put on my lap), this has seriously contributed to a much healthier physical position for working.

It's good but too expensive for what it is!
