These are great hiking socks. They are the right thickness for my hiking boots, they fit snugly on my feet but aren't too tight, I like the cheerful pattern, and, best of all, lifetime guarantee! No receipt necessary, no expiration date, just send them back to the company and they will replace them 30 years from now if they wear out. With a guarantee like that you would expect the material to have the consistency of plastic or metal, but, instead, they are soft, warm and comfortable. So worth the price!

These are the only socks I wear anymore. I have the more padded ones for winter and the lightweight ones for summer. I have several fun pairs with cute designs, like my chicken ones. I love all the colors available now. These fit great too. No blisters in my hiking boots!They do seem to run a little bit small and they will draw up a bit in the washer/dryer because they are wool and wool blend socks, but I have combatted that by either not putting them in the dryer or just drying for little bit on low and then gently stretching and hanging to dry. My whole family loves these socks.The company is outstanding! With ordering for all the members of my family I have of. course had a couple issues, but Darn Tough always makes it right. I have actually returned two pairs that seem to be wearing more than they should. Darn Tough honored their promise and replaced them without a fuss. They give you a gift certificate for a new pair of socks. Quick and easy. I will continue to buy Darn Tough socks, especially when they are on sale as they are a bit higher than other socks, but they are worth it!

I be like the fit. The socks are comfortable, the designs and the promised durability are also what I like best about these socks. My feet stay dry and warm with these socks.

I’m not a fan of $30 socks but they’re worth every penny. High quality, no seams to bother my toes, very cushy, cozy and will work in my mountain winters. Will hand wash and dry to make them last longer. Dryers are not good for merino wool or any high quality materialsHighly recommend

Can’t say enough about these socks ( made in the USA) I use them for hiking and work around the farm. Darn Tuff!

I love a good pair of socks. Darn Tough and Smartwool are my favorites. Darn Tough seems to be chunkier and soft, where Smartwool is slimmer and offers a little compression. I absolutely love these socks for lounging and walking and they keep me pretty warm. I also appreciate that the purple socks didn't seem to have any color transfer when I washed them.

I got this when I was in Vermont and was doing a lot of hiking there. It is on a pricier side but so far it lasts longer than my other socks. This keep my feet warm and no smell after all the hiking I did.
