Delivered with only 3 months left before expiration, but still a reasonable value
UPDATE: I ordered again, and received a box of strips that were already expired. It's not the customer's responsibility to purge the vendor's stale inventory. I am done with this vendor - one star, they blew itThe total shelf life of these strips is 2 years, based on the manufacturing lot date and expiration dates printed on the package. It was disappointing to receive a bottle that had only 3 months left before expiration date. And that seems to matter, because a month after the expiration date the leukocytes test pad turned pink on every unused test strip in the bottle, as another reviewer mentioned. Once that happens the test accuracy can no longer be trusted, and the strips shouldn't be used, as plainly stated on the packaging.Still, getting 50 test strips for this price is a decent value if you have multiple pets you test regularly, even if you have to discard a lot of strips due to expiration. UTI test strips for humans are over $3 per strip, from the feminine care section of a drugstore.I use UTI test strips as guidance, not gospel, to help decide whether a pet should see the vet. I think the test strips tend towards false negatives. More than once test strips (from various sources, not necessarily these) have been negative yet the dog continued to show behavioral symptoms of a UTI, and eventually was diagnosed by the vet with a UTI.A tip on urine collection: try a plastic scoop with a handle, like a flour or sugar scoop. I set aside an extra pet food scoop for this purpose. The wedge shape of the scoop makes it easier to slip from behind under a female dog when she squats to pee. Make sure to wash and rinse the scoop thoroughly after each test, and rinse again and shake dry BEFORE each test.

What you don't realize ...
I cannot speak to the accuracy of the product. I can say that you have to collect a sample of your dog's urine. For me, that was pretty much impossible. When I would try and put something under her quickly while she was going, she would get scared and rush off. I was able to collect barely anything. So I'm not sure how accurate the product can be if measured in such a tiny amount. Just know that is what you are going to have to do before you order this product. :)

Accurate results
Work as described. I keep these at home because I have 2 diabetic dogs that are more prone to utis than other dogs. I purchase new after reaching the expiration date.

Obviously not easy to use
This product works, to my knowledge but itโs practically impossible to get a. Test strip and try to put it under an actively peeing dog ๐
