Almost the best pads available
The Ultrasorb line of bed pads is one of the best quality pads on the market. I have tried many bed pads and these are among the most absorbent. I first learned of Medline’s pads during one of my many trips to the hospital. At Mt. Sinai hospital where I have had numerous surgeries, they regularly utilize the Extrasorbs pads. These Ultrasorbs are the top of the line and appear to be slightly higher quality than the Extrasorbs. I currently use bed pads on my floor as I have an elderly dog who can’t wait to go outside. She suffers from Cushings Syndrome. Although I do not dispute all of the excellent reviews for this product, there happens to be another bed pad that is more absorbent which is McKesson Maximum. I have compared the rate of absorption and the capacity to absorb fluids and in my honest opinion the Maximum is more absorbent and absorbs faster. On the other hand, the Ultrasorbs feels slightly softer on the skin and may retain odors better. The other comparison is price and in that respect the McKesson Maximum wins by a long shot. By the case these Ultrasorbs are $2.00 per pad. The McKesson Maximum are $1.34 per pad, a much better value

Save the bed
I have been really using this product. It catches all leaks and dribbles. It saves the mattress. I love this product.

Now that I have been an ICU patient I love them even more
In my early days as a nurse we had a product that was not very absorbent but as it was fluid protection it did reduce the amount of linens needing to be washed. I was first asked to review this product by our materials management department in our ICU. Now for the most part I prefer the patients do not sit in their own urine the odor alone must be unpleasant. But some patients in the ICU cannot be moved around much. Too much moisture in the skin causes skin breakdown. These amazing pads pull fluid away from the patient better than any other product I’ve seen a market away from them the top feels dry almost like a baby diaper.

Handles sweats
When I’m experiencing fevers, these are perfect to keep me dry while sweating. The composition is similar to hospital styles, no irritation, very smooth and comfortable.

Good absorbency for incontinent adults
This rarely gets overwhelmed by an adults urine output when used as an overnight bed pad. Its size permits an adult to rollover or change from side to side without rolling off the pad. You do not feel you are in a puddle because the material wicks fluid across the pad. It is easy to slide out from under an adult by having them roll to the side and pulling. Four stars instead of five simply because they are expensive as are most incontinence products.

Outstanding
These pads were used in the hospital that my wife was in after breaking her leg. They actually had the smaller size at the hospital. After my wife was released from the hospital she was not able to put any weight on her leg, thus she was confined to bed most of the time. I had washable pads and decided to buy some pads from Walmart. They were not as good as the ones from the hospital and stuck to my wife's skin. I searched on the internet and found the Medline Ultrasorbs AP Premium Disposable DryPad just like in the hospital and then I saw the larger size. Decided to get the larger size. I've only used 4 pad out of 70 over the past 4 weeks. I've only had to wash one of the wasable pads since using the disposable ones on top of the washable ones. I'm very pleased!

Great Product
I bought this pad when I came home from having surgery. I needed a pad that was strong, and absorbent. I used these pads for weeks since I didn't need to change them every day. They are soft and big enough to protect your bed no matter what your situation. Thank God I am healed to the point I don't need them any longer but I would buy them again if I ever needed to.

Best I’ve Found
I buy these for my elderly mother who has some blather control issues. They are a great size for the bed and for a seat in a chair or couch. They are the most absorbent I’ve found, which is really important at night in bed. They are soft but have some weight so they don’t slide like others. They are worth the money.
