My laptop seemed to be working overtime based on the heat it was putting out after I upgraded the SSD card. The extra heat was noticeable. I bought this cooling fan pad to help dissapate the heat so my laptop wouldn't overheat.The pad has six fans that are controlled by two thumb buttons so that you don't need to have all six fans running at once. The fan speed is adjustable which helps keep the fans from being very noisy when they are turned on to the max.It's been working out for me so I'm happy with it.BTW - I bought this fan from the Amazon Resale store (you can sometimes find it as an option when you are purchasing a product). The fan usint was in perfect, like new shape. I can't say the same for the box it came in but the box isn't what I bought the fan for. I also saved a few bucks by buying this via the Amazon Resale store on Amazon.

Great product, laptop runs fast again :o)Laptop - (LG GRAM 14T90Q 14" Intel EVO 12th Gen 16GB LPDDR5 1TB NVMe SSD, FHD, WiFi 6E, Thunderbolt 4) - used on a fuzzy blanket, not the best idea, but still ... became really hot with GPU/CPU intensive applications, and slow. I had a Targus pad from previous laptop, cost twice the price, purchased at the store with the dog and bullseye 🎯, but with only two fans, it didn't circulate the air directly into the Laptop vents. Air didn't line up with Laptop vents so well. This pad has six fans, so air is more spread out over surface of pad, and at so figured at least one of the fans would blow air into the laptop. Sure enough, it did. And, unlike Targus, this variable speed. On the Targus pad, a blade had broken off, so was vibrating due to imbalance. Tried others from 🏷<--- that store, the one with the yellow tag, B.B., with so-so results. That store only has two-week return policy however, had to scramble to return. This pad, (what's in a name?) out-cooled the others from the big-box mall store. Bottom line: Laptop now runs cooler and faster than the previous ones, and can once again put laptop on couch, bed, pillow, and the fuzzies don't stop the air from flowing.Cool 😎!

I have a gaming laptop, and despite my attempts to keep the fans clean and clear of dust, it gets VERY HOT - hot enough where if I place my fingers in the wrong spot during the summer, they can get burnt.This fan works very well, the only downside is that it's very loud. Between the Alienware laptop and this mat, it's like a jet engine in my living room. The wife doesn't like hearing her shows over the sounds of my hot laptop.

Money well spend, daughter loves it,especially in summer time, surprisingly very quiet, and material seems solid yet lightweight, it also has other adjustments as well, very nice and practical, definitely recommend this product

Absolutely love this product! It is lightweight but is also able to hold my laptop and is the perfect size for it. It is also quieter than I expected. My laptop has also been running a lot smoother since I’m able to cool it down and I’m someone who does a lot of gaming on my laptop.

I was really surprised, actually, at how little air the fans seem to generate. I experimented with different speeds and angles of the footed ramps. For having six fans I expected it to really cool the laptop, but it seems to just push the warm air up towards the laptop. The air does dissipate as the fans are pushing the air, it's hitting the laptop, and then it's evacuating the sides. But I wouldn't say it's doing a comparably great job at cooling. My previous fan I used for gaming had two large fans and the direction of the fans pulled the air down and out the sides of the fan, and didn't push it up, which is maybe what I will look for in future. The six fans on this product are fairly quiet, and seem well made. It's just not the performance I was hoping for overall.

I am surprised how durable this is and it works great. Mine is making a weird noise when it first comes on and I can get it to go away but that's completely my fault this thing should be destroyed by now lol.

Good price, satisfied with quiet fans. Although these fans are not super super strong, so be aware if you are looking for strong fans. It works for me.
