My son absolutely loves WWI and wanted as close to an authentic doughboy helmet we could find. This was perfect. It's pretty sturdy - not impossible to break, but aside from a metal one, there's not much that would be break-proof. He absolutely loved it and it made his costume complete!

Was looking for a costume Brodie and this being the cheapest I wasn't expecting much but it's a good mold and fits nicely and importantly looks and plays the part. The straps are the weak link to this product if you want it for airsoft maybe plan to upgrade them. Or if you want this for a kids costume maybe add a little glue where the strap is attached to the helmet. Other than that it fit my needs perfectly and would recommend for costume use.

My son's lives it but the only complaint he has was the strap broke off within a day or two. Other than that, he loves it.

A lot of companies sell brodies that are too small, not deep enough, etc. These are perfect.

I bought this for my WW1 history fanatic 11 yr old son. He loved it!! Only draw back, the chin strap is cheaply attached and pulled off the helmet the 1st day. Too bad, cause the rest of the helmet is pretty durable.

the chin strap broke immediately. My son loves military history so this was a great gift, but the strap broke and he was disappointed. The shell of the helmet is VERY sturdy though!

My only complaint is that the strap is too modern and there is no inside top padding, however those two items can be corrected.
