I attempted to get these working following the instructions to a T and it failed miserably.Initially, I struggled to get them working at all with Homekit (the main reason I bought them). Multiple re-sets, forcing local network to 2.4gHz only, and it just wouldn't play ball. Constantly got 'read/write error' when trying to control. For the briefest of moments it worked though. The only way you can add them with an iOS device is via Homekit and camera scanning, so if it doesn't work, they're useless.I tried to get Amazon working with them for my echo devices, but as the iOS app requires you to add it to homekit first, I couldn't get the Alexa skill setup (the strip wasn't showing in the app for it to register correctly for the skill to see it).In the end I returned them. The support offered was basic but not much above the provided instructions. Return a bit annoying as even though it's going to the UK, Amazon support said it was a third party international vendor, and required me to pay for postage (and they reimburse you upon supplying a receipt for postage).Not a good experience. It may boil down to Homekit not working correctly or it may be the product, but either way, was extremely disappointed after the numerous positive reviews I have seen here and on YouTube.

it is working fine, except for the pairing to the app on 2 different phones.also I would not try to do a sharp 90 degree turn

A fantastic product, easy to setup and use with Apple Home app. Used inside and linked it with another I already had for coordinated lighting. Had to turn down the brightness! Tremendous value for money.

Probably best light strip available although still many improvements possible where other brands also lack. Siri integration for example, functions that can’t be saved from the light modes is the biggest con.

I was pleasantly surprised by this item, it is not cheap for a light strip but once you need HomeKit and waterproof, choices are limited. It does shades of white in a good, if not absolutely perfect, manner, great for an RGB strip. Colours are great and I like the effects, although they are not controllable by HomeKit. So far the connections and automations have been robust, not all wifi smart home kit is. I would recommend this for a HomeKit user, yes it's a little more expensive but does the job well.

The media could not be loaded.  Love the product! It is easy to set up and has a vast number of color modes and granular brightness control. The app is intuitive, too. My favorite part is the music mode in which the lights flash with music beats. My daughter loves it. A must-have for indoor Christmas lights.

The media could not be loaded.  This set of led light strip breaks the mould. They don't just remain static, they can be set to create pulsing lights, different colours at the same time and pattern strobes etc. But only through the app on iOS (apple products) which is a big let down for android users who only get a basic app (called cloud intelligence) to control static colour, brightness and saturation.The iOS app really opens up the capabilities of the led lighting and many moods, modes, lighting effects, patterns, individual leds etc can be set. Paint mode allows you to use varying colours and patterns all on one strip!They really are excellent but a shame that the strip lightings functions can't be fully realised through the android app.None the less I'm sure it's something the app developers could work on and integrate for android users.The whole set feels much better quality than the usual rgb strip lighting, from the control box and plug to the water resistant led strip lighting that comes rolled up on a reel. The control box and plug is NOT water resistant.The adhesive is strong and produced by 3M who are renowned for producing excellent quality adhesives and tapes etc.The colours emitted are bright and they sort of strobe as you switch between colours which looks cool and professional.I really rate these highly for their iOS app funtionality but have dropped a star for the fact that android users aren't getting the same functionality on the android app and the strips don't appear to have cut lines so you can't trim these down.The price is a tad expensive in my opinion but these are much much better quality than standard led lighting strips.They are what I'd call a mid premium product and pricey but worth it.These work with Apple homekit, Google assistant and Amazon alexa devices making them part of the smart home technology.Connection is relatively easy to the WiFi (these won't connect to 5ghz though)The kit contains the following :5 metres of led strip lightingControl box and mains adapterFixing clips and screws.Sticky pad for sticking the control box somewhereUser manualOverall a good set of light strip that atm is geared towards apple device users and functionality is astounding with the apple app.

These led strip lights are quite expensive but are definitely somewhat worth the price. They allow for Apple HomeKit connectivity which lower end strips do not support. They are also WiFi enabled and have a microphone so they can “dance” with sound. They have adhesive on the back for easy sticking to surfaces. They are dreamcolor which means they are addressable allowing for dynamic effects such as waves of colour. You do only get 5m which is enough for one part of the room, but they are also waterproof so they can be put outside. Overall, expensive but definitely high quality. Great addressable waterproof strip.
