Follow Your Bliss: The Best Of Senses Fail

Senses Fail are a band that falls under the "post hardcore" moniker. Frantic music played with timing changes. Heartfelt lyrics and bloodcurdling screams assail you as often as the tender moments come as well. If these guys don't do it better than anyone else, then they at least are in the top 3.But enough about them in general. Is this specific CD worth picking up? For the hardcore fan, that's a stupid question. This might be just a greatest hits CD, but when you add in the stellar bonus EP of four new songs it makes it a must own. Also it's nice being able to read the bands thoughts on many of those songs. I love what they have to say about 187!What if you're a casual fan? Well then it's still a must pick up. This is all their "hit" songs. And a sweet EP!What if you want to get into them because you've never really heard them? Well, I recommend this album still because it's a nice overview of who the band is.And what about those new songs? Here's my opinion:War Paint - 9.9 Really good song. Love the lyrics and it's catchy chorus. Hands down the hardest of the four songs and the best. I don't just love songs for the straight up lyric content anymore. But for this song, I would anyway. Amazing!Vines - 9.9 Man I LOVE this song. Rocks hard and great rifts. Buddy doesn't scream in it but the tune still hits on all cylinders. Worth buying for this song alone!Early Graves - 8.0 Reminds me of Family Tradition. Great song with very little screaming. The lyrics once again are awesome.Waves - 8.3 Lyrics are great once again. Really when aren't they? Not the heaviest EP, but a standout still.Final score: 36.1 out of 40.0. Pretty darn good! Worth buying. To echo the other reviewer....buy it NOW! There are only 10,000 copies and you don't want to be left out. :) Senses Fail forever!

It's always nice to have a collection of a favorite band's best work, and this does not let down. I love how they even decided to pull some songs from their very first EP back before they "hit it big" and it's awesome to me to be able to hear the growth and the changes as the years went by, however unlike a lot of bands who went on to major label contracts, they never gave up their sound and as a result, they have a fan for life. This is definitely worth picking up if you have been a fan since day 1 and its just as worth buying if you are catching on to them for the first time. Cannot go wrong here.

Kind of an odd "Best Of" compilation; the songs aren't here aren't really anyone's favorites other than the singles. For the most part though, it gets the job done.

I love this Compilation Album. I really like Senses Fail, seeing them in march! I'm satisfied with this order other than there being a tiny crack in the CD case, i get it, it's old. So i don't mind.

Cd works great but the case came in pieces

this is a must buy if only for the EP... war paint is arguably the best song they have ever made. Slightly disappointed that they didn't have some senses fail classics on the "greatest hits" cd... but i have every senses fail song anyway, so its no big deal.

Good list of songs, though for a greatest hits I feel it is missing quite a few hits.

First off it comes with 2 CDs because the Awsomeness can't be contained in one CD,187 is the best song for me and this album is bomb straight up.I ordered from bull moose.com and it came here very fast (2 days) looks new but had a crack on album case but no biggie,will be buying from them again
