Q: I understand the history, buuuutttt.......does the umbrella have a swastika crest on it?

No...although it may resemble a swastika, it is not. It is an old Samurai crest that existed long before the swastika was ever created. all of these are old Samurai crests, and they only appear when the umbrella is wet (really cool!!!) I used to know the name of the crest but it isn't coming to me right now...but no, it is definitely NOT a swastika. Great umbrella, great conversation piece, but don't go swinging it around like a real sword or you may end up breaking it. It's not built to withstand swordplay - but it is a good umbrella.

Q: do you get to choose with family crest you get, or do you get all of them? Do you need to iron the crest on?
