Love these eco-friendly felt coasters ! They look nice, have a great modern gray:black coloring, and they function as they should. Thick enough to absorb sweat from your glass and keep the surface underneath dry. Super durable!

Review has been updated: I was looking for a coaster that did not stick to the glass when it was picked up, as well as doing a good job absorbing the moisture from the glass. The reviews were mixed - some saying the coasters did not stick, others saying they did. I took a chance and ordered these. At first when using them, my experience was that they did in fact stick slightly. They clung to the glass when it was lifted, but only briefly for maybe an inch or so, and then dropped silently back down. Much better than the ceramic coasters that we already have, but still not what I was hoping for. The coasters also didn't seem to absorb moisture as good as I was hoping. The moisture tended to sit on top of the coaster rather than being fully absorbed. The price was very reasonable, but I just wish it would have performed more to my expectations. My search continues for a non sticking coaster that fully absorbs moisture that cold drinks tend to draw. **Update** After having these for a while, the absorbency seems much better than when I first got them, - not sure why, but glad that they did. I also was able to lessen the sticking to the glass by adding some weight to the coaster - I did this by using 3 very small binder clips placed around the edge of the coaster, and it's just enough so that the coaster no longer sticks. I then set that coaster on top of a second coaster so the clips can't scratch the surface they are sitting on. Very happy now! Great value!

Unfortunately, contrary to some reviews, I find that cocktail glasses stick to them when I lift the glass. However, the mitigating factors are that they are (1) very inexpensive and (2) very light in weight, so if one of them should separate from the glass after you lift it, at least it will not come crashing down to the table or floor like many heavier coasters would. Still, these are not the ultimate answer so I am still looking for the perfect affordable coaster.

Amazingly, I was having a hard time finding a basic inexpensive coaster. I wanted something to protect table top/counter that doesn't have an picture, image or something written on it, would match any room, wasn't expensive but didn't look cheap or fall apart after a few uses, wasn't heavy and was absorbent. These coasters check all the boxes. My SO was using a paper napkin on an ugly ceramic coaster that I couldn't get the stains off of. It was clean but looked really gross. Highly recommend these.
