Heavy-duty steel grate that I never expected to find!
We have a long, narrow drain in front of our double-door garage that collects water running down our steep driveway. When the house was built 40 years ago, steel grates were installed over the drain—strong enough to support our cars driving over them. The slits in the grates prevented leaves from entering the drain. Over time, some of these metal grates became corroded, and one even broke under the weight of our vehicles. Local stores did not carry this type of grate; however, I was fortunate to find a company on Amazon that manufactures them. They provided detailed measurements, assuring me it would fit our narrow drain perfectly.I expected to wait a week or two for my order, but it arrived in two days. The packaging was impressive, consisting of a heavy-duty box with plenty of padding despite containing only one steel grate. I thought that was fantastic. Since the first grate fit perfectly, I ordered several more to replace the corroded grates. Just like the first shipment, they arrived excellently packaged within two days. I have since painted them with Rust-Oleum to help reduce corrosion.

NOT GOOD FOR DRIVEWAY, CHEAPLY MADE WITH THIN SHEET METAL, IT CAN BE BEND BY HAND.
IT IS NOT GOOD FOR THE DRIVEWAY, IS CHEAPLY MADE, AND CAN BE BENT BY HAND, IF THE CAR GOES OVER IT AFTER A WHILE IT WARPS, THE DESCRIPTION IS DECEIVING NOT MENTIONING THE METAL THICKNESS, WHICH SHOWS 1/8 INCH FOR A FOLDED THIN SHEET METAL & AIR GAP IN BETWEEN. IT SHOULD WARN THE BUYER NOT TO USE IT FOR THE DRIVEWAY OR THE SHOP FLOOR.

These are grate (ha-ha) in quality and workmanship
These are grate (ha-ha) in quality and workmanship...although to my disappointment, they are not wide enough to fit the channels that is already installed in my driveway. They are about a quarter of an inch shy on the withe.

Watch out on returns. You have to pay for the return. The product is cheaply made. Description dimensions are wrong. Watch out
