I buy these for budget and ultra budget builds. They run well during stress testing and the build quality I just a little more than what you would expect at this price. It’s also not as loud as you would think for a PSU that is under $50.

This power supply is perfect for my latest build. i9 with an Asus ATX motherboard. Super quiet and plenty of output. I think this is the quietest power supply I have ever had in over thirty years of building my own PC's.

Installed a new rx6700xt and this psu couldn't handle it. Seemed fine before the gpu upgrade. I'll safely assume it would still be working if I stayed with my rx580. Not sure why the 700w wasn't enough, unless it wasn't 700w. Either way, it only had a bronze rating.

I ordered this power supply for a new desktop Windows 10 Enterprise build. The PS exhibited some problems with the 12 V on power up; I called Zalman customer service & explained the erratic behavior. I had been not shutting the computer down because restarting was the usual trigger for problems. I also needed the system running so I could complete tax returns. Zalman shipped a new supply with my pledge to return the problem PS after I had the new backup supply & the original supply next acted up.

I really enjoy using this power-supply because after almost a year of consistent using it's holding up great. I highly recommend this buy

Just what I needed to keep my PC up and running.

I had not used a Zalman PSU prior but I will keep this PSU in mind for future builds needing 600W of power. I could barely even hear the psu fan as the cpu fan is usually loudest. I built a Ryzen 5600G build with the Zalman 600W with intentions for adding in a GPU. A 600W should support most mid range gpus like the RX 6600 and RTX 2060.
