The picture is incredible
I bought this for use in my office as a computer monitor and as a tv for when me and the wife want to watch different things. I have been through three tvs looking for something I could truly enjoy. This surpases what I expected. QLED gives the picture quality desired without mortgaging the house for an OLED. I sit about 2 feet away when working and don't need reading glasses and the picture is perfect. For watching Television it get's even better with an experience rivaling OLED. I have not noticed any blooming at all. I LOVE this TV. But, you do need a soundbar or something. The internal speakers are not good enough for my deep need for good sound. FOr gaming the refresh is good for an xbox or PS, but I wouldn't try and push serious PC gaming through it at high refresh rates. This is worth every penny and is super affordable for what it is. An amazing picture and a great computer monitor.

Good Budget TV
Picture quality is nice. It checks all the boxes. It's especially good for gaming as it has HDMI 2.1, FreeSync, VRR and very low response time. It only supports 4k at 60 Hz but for the price you can let 120 Hz go. After all, most games do not attain 120 Hz at 4k today anyways. It's more of a future investment at this point. It has Chromecast and AirPlay for a wireless connection from your laptop. The audio needs an upgrade. A soundbar will make a difference and immensely add to the experience. The biggest drawbacks are; dim screen (if your room has plenty of sunshine, you might wanna look at another budget TV), built-in apps that wears the TV down (you have no control over apps) and no local dimming zones. There is also only a year of warranty, which indicates the trust that Vizio has for this product for long-term usage. I mean 12 months is nothing for a TV.If you are more interested in watching movies only, Hisense U6H has a better panel. But if you are looking for a more all around usage, this has a better gaming experience without falling behind at the movies too much.

Blue Screen of Death. TV Dead.
After probably 20 years of owning an older plasma screen 36-inch television (that I never had any problems within 20 years, by the way), I decided to take the leap and upgrade. Most of my research indicated Vizio is a respected brand. I ordered this new television in April 2022. Had a few minor problems here and there with the screen glitching; once an update got stuck and I had to call Vizio to have them remotely connect to my television to reboot it.Now, however, after just 19 months of owning this television, 7 months after it is out of warranty, I sat down today to watch some Netflix on my day off, and...nothing. Just a blue screen. TV froze. Then the power light started blinking, then it faded out. Looked up potential solutions, saw "blue screen of death." Power cycled like they recommended. Still the same thing. So, now, no television. After spending well over a thousand dollars on the television and stand. And I either chuck it for free or pay someone, probably, to fix it.Needless to say, I absolutely do not recommend this item. Go LG. They are, evidently, MUCH MORE reliable.Update 02/14/2024:Not long after this review posted, I did end up shopping for a new TV. My Vizio was garbage. I ultimately purchased a Samsung. It is incredibly fast: Screen is right there when you turn it on. No glitches (yet). Picture quality is far superior. I love the ergonomics of the remote. And it has cloud gaming at no additional cost or subscription. Very cool. I love it and will never go Vizio again.I did, however, learn from this experience and purchased a 4-year extended warranty.

Love This Vizio M Series 50” TV
I have had this TV for about 6 months. I love it. Speakers are great, unlike the last TV (different brand.) I don’t need a soundbar anymore, as the sound is great on this model. Picture is awesome, mounting on wall is simple. It looks great and performs great too. The OS is much quicker because of the high powered CPU, which makes all the menu’s, app launches, streaming, etc snappy. I would definitely buy it again.I have had multiple Vizio TV’s, starting with their fist model, the P50 plasma. None of them ever broke. The only reason I had to replace them is for the newer technology (4K, apps, ARC, etc.) This TV everything you’re average Joe needs and more. It has many inputs for devices, Dolby Vision, Dolby Sound. the remote is Bluetooth which is another great feature. I don’t need IR extensions anymore either.Keep up the good work Vizio. I will definitely buy more Vizio TV’s in the future.

Nice TV
Set this up today. Had to go for an M series after several V series, which did not last all that long. The M is a little better made it seems, and setup is really easy. Better picture too. A new Vizio will put you squarely in the land of others knowing how you use it, and therefore use you, but I'll do any web streaming with an external stream box anyhow - I had to add one of those, since the V series were a little unreliable after a while with eARC connectivity, and sound back to my AVR was lower quality and developed spottiness.
