I've been using the Tula since my baby was 5 months and they're now 9 months. Ive tried other baby carriers including the Wildbird Aerial and the Baby Bjorn but the Tula free to grow is by far my favorite for a number of reasons. The design makes the most sense because the straps do not touch the floor when putting it on and it's easy to put baby in. The weight is distributed evenly on the shoulders, back and hips. I'm 5'4 150lbs and the waist strap fits great. The carrier is study but not uncomfortable. The material is soft and not scratchy so my baby doesn't mind being in the carrier. I'd recommend the Tula FTG over the Wildbird Aerial because they're the same price range but the Tula is a much better design and has a pocket and head cover.

I love love love my Tula! This is my second one for my second baby ( almost 7 years apart) and the quality hasn't changed at all, still sturdy as ever! The designs are so cute and it feels so safe, I never worry about my babies falling out. Highly recommend it and it's worth the price!

I’m a first time mom with a 4 month old. I have an older style Ergobaby carrier that my daughter just doesn’t like using, so we decided to bite the bullet and give this a try. I appreciate having more options to adjust the fit of the carrier as my daughter grows and even between everyone in my family. It’s a bit chunky, but it’s slimmer than my ergobaby. The carrier is super well made, very adjustable, and I feel better knowing my baby is safe because I can adjust the height, seat width, and the straps to help her breathe and not feel too hot or uncomfortable. I use this carrier when I don’t want to bring a stroller with me, or when strollers may be too bulky. My daughter is a real Velcro baby, so being able to do a little more around the house has been a real lifesaver.

My little one is 8.5lbs and three weeks old. I was looking for a way to carry him hands free so I can still function with my other two children. After trying the Boba wrap and feeling like it just didn’t have enough support for my baby, I tried the Tula. Very structured and sturdy and allows me to be completely hands free! It is very comfortable for me. I am a petite woman (5’4” and a small waist pants size 0-1) and this carrier adjusts to fit me easily. With it being August now, it is a little hot for my baby and I. We both sweat a bit in it. I find the support for myself and baby is great! Because of the structured and supportive fabric, I find that is is a little uncomfortable at the bottom for my baby so I wrap a small tea towel or receiving blanket and tuck it at the bottom for his feet. Overall this is the best baby carrier I’ve tried and worth the price. I only took one star off because it doesn’t offer the face-out option (but I see they do carry another style that does). I feel for the price, there should be more position options. I would recommend this infant carrier.

Let me first tell you about the other carriers & wraps I’ve tried or that I have and then I’ll tell you how much I love this Tula one! Beco Gemini: We were given a Beco Gemini carrier as a gift. We have tried to put our LO in it but it’s really long and she’s on the smaller side (9lbs at 2 months), so she never seems quite comfortable. She will slide down in it and it can be tough to adjust to fit her right now. The material is thick, which does not seem super comfortable right now in the summer but will be great for colder weather and when she’s a bit bigger and fits more properly. WildBird Sling: Loved the idea of the simplicity of it, but don’t feel it gives enough support for my LO right now. I can see it being helpful later on. Boba Wrap: Love this for around the house and for keeping baby close. However, there is a learning curve to putting it on (I watched lots of videos!) and in a pinch, you still have to wrap it up before putting baby in and sometimes I want it to happen quicker (and she does too!) This Tula carrier: love it!!! Right out of the box and with 1 video and reading through the booklet, I was able to adjust it for my 2 month old and put it on and get situated. Really easy to adjust and super comfortable when on! The straps are nice and cushioned and I like how they snap in the back instead of criss cross, like some other carriers (I always felt they crept up my back that way). My LO doesn’t love having her legs out but this carrier adjusts to a really narrow width at the bottom for small babies so that their feet can stick out and keeps the important M shape they need. The top also adjusts down so that the length of the carrier is not too long for your LO - so that their head can be supported but also out enough for you to see them. Love those 2 adjustable features and it’s so easy to do solo! Love that the material is softer and not as stiff as others and it helps that they have cute designs! I love this black with stars design. The marketing & design is their packaging and the product overall is great. I also like the pouch in the front that can hold your phone and money and keys. Bigger (width wise - more expandable) than what’s on the Beco Gemini. Love love love this! Get it!!!
