Clean carefully first, works great.
Great stuff. I scraped the old adhesive off the edge of the door, then used a goo-type remover to get the remnants. Then cleaned again with 409 and then a final wipe with alcohol. A firm press along the edge, then removed the paper tape and applied the "T" gasket with a firm press along the edge. It looks great and makes the door look new. The old stuff lasted over 10 years, I expect this will do the same. This is thicker than the old stuff as well, I assume that was the .020, this roll is .040.

It worked for me.
The viny/plastic (not sure) shower door runner broke free, leaving the doors swinging. The runner was held in place with translucent double stick adhesive. I cleaned the frame and the runner with alcohol and roughed up both surfaces with a wire brush. The tape didn't come instructions, but some other reviews mentioned letting new tape cure before stressing it, so no one moved the doors and kept the tape dry for three days. After three weeks, the tape is holding. The original tape was about 1" wide, so I had use 4 parallel strips of the replacement product.

Easy to work with
This tape is easy to work with, but if it touches ANYTHING other than the surface that it's supposed to stick to, the adhesive is compromised - - that includes your fingertips! I expected it to be a very high bond to the surface I applied it to, and it was, but because I used it for a shower door sweep, the silicone sweep has a lot of movement and, therefore, the tape does too. I'd recommend it for sticking together items that will not be moving. Also, the tape is not flat like scotch tape... it is about 1/16-1/8" thick.

A great product
I purchased this and the CRL Translucent Silicone Bulb Seal to place across the edges of our glass coffee table so that the glass top wouldn't slide from position on top of the vertical edges that support it. Thanks to the quality of silicone, the tabletop is secure without being adhered to its position. Plus, it doesn't add a color cline to the edge of the glass but disappears into the background as we'd hoped.

Use this with "T" seal for glass...Very High Bond , so get it right the first time.
I applied this to my "T" seal, between shower sliding glass doors. Looks very good two months later...I was worried it would "dirty" or "lint" around the edges, but I've checked and it looks like I just did it, spotless and clear. Use masking tape for a straight edge on the opposing side of glass, because this stuff sticks good, and you really only get one shot at it. I got it off the glass twice when it touched by accident, but it was a tiny spot both times...I really don't think I could have, with a bigger contact point. Pro-grade stuff, just take your time, trust me.

sort of works
I used this product to bond a vinyl shower door drip sweep to the bottom of my glass shower door. The adhesive bonded well to the glass, but after a couple of days the vinyl door drip sweep started to detach. I ended up using a little super glue to bond the door sweep to the adhesive tape. It's been about 2 weeks and so far everything seems to be holding together. Not ideal, but there isn't any water pooling outside the shower door and that all that matters to me.

Worked as advertized
Was used to replace a 1/2" acrylic door guard on a glass shower door. Used razor to remove old adhesive tape, followed by goo-gone, and window cleaner to completely clean the edge. Tacked guard on masking tape hinges on leading door edge, applied hi-bond tape to door edge, pivoted guard into position, pressed firmly along entire edge to seal, and tacked trailing edge of guard to set. Let set for recommended 72hrs, and perfect job after removing masking tape. Thanks CRL, great product!

GARBAGE - NOT WORTH THE PRICE!
This may be useful for some things but not for an area constantly being flooded by water. I tried using this on the translucent vinyle edge "T" wipe to divert water from coming out of the bottom of the shower door. I cleaned, scrubbed, dried, used alcohol to make sure it was ready for the acrylic tape and 1 week later, the edge is already coming off and has continued to come off by about 3 inches so far. I am going to have to use E6000 glue instead to make sure this doesn't come off and my T Wipe actually stays adhered to the door.UPDATE: IT IS TOTALLY WORTHLESS, fell off my shower door completely and I used Loctite Power Grab instead to adhere the vinyl to the metal frame and then a small swipe of clear caulk over the top edge to help. So far, it works like a charm.
