Does the job well. We also installed longer ones.
We had these installed adjacent to our toilets and also horizontally at the front of the shower and vertically at the rear of the shower. It's now much safer.

Great for my needs
I purchased this to put in a shower I had remodeled. The finish is nice, and the bar is very sturdy when installed correctly. It blends in with the other metal items in my bathroom that are also oil rubbed bronze. I bought a second one to mount outside the shower a few weeks later, as an extra safety bar for my elderly grandparents.

it gives me the security I need
It is a little longer than expected but we had it installed and it secures me in the shower. It is great because I can get to my shampoo easier with it being a little longer. I truly love it.
