Recommended strongly by our plumber
We had a new on demand water heater professionally installed. I had bought it on sale on line but did not realize that the electrical hook-up was on the opposite side from my last water heater and that the water lines were a different size, and so had to call a professional electrician to lengthen the 240 electrical cable. I had then planned to install the water heater myself. But the electrician did not recommend that and asked me if I had bought the bleed valves and I hadn’t. He called their plumber who stopped by, approved the set-up and installed and tested the water heater and water hose step-down adapters (1/2 hr, I watched). He also told me to buy the Rheem bleed valves, that they would extend the life of the water heater, and that every brand of valves he had ever installed had leaked except the Raheem. So I ordered the Rheem bleed valves and when they arrived he installed them and showed me how to bleed the lines. Since by then my ‘sale’ but good water heater had cost me over a thousand dollars in all, I wanted the heater to last as long as possible.

Hot water valve leaks at handle stem with an update
Instead of buying one of the cheaper (40% less) valve sets, I went with the Rheem name and paid a premium only to find that the hot water leaked at the valve stem. I had this installed by a plumber and all looked well until a week later when I went to flush my hot water cleaner and once I turned the handle the small drip appeared. Fortunately when you turn the valve off, it does not leak. Now I will have to have plumber out again and install a new valve at my cost because I supplied the valve. After paying a premium for Rheem Wetstone, I won't be buying another valve from them and do NOTY recommend them in the future. When the plumber came out to replace valve, the valve was not leaking and could not get it to leak. Don't know the reason but decided not to replace the valve. So the valve now seems to be OK but I did have to pay an additional $150 for service call. Therefore still not happy with Wetstone but the valve is OK. I will change my rating to 4 stars because I had to pay for a service call.

Essential For Tankless Water Heaters
Yes, these met my expectations. Bought a tankless propane water heater. If there is any problem with the water heater, the plumbers will need these. This is how they flush the system to diagnose the problem. If it is a new line you are putting in, you very well could have a problem come up your first week of operation.Tip: These SHOULD be sold WITH the tankless water heater. But sometimes they are not. If you bought a tankless water heater and the flush kit is not included, get one asap or buy it at the same time (even if it is not this brand or whatever). The plumbers or installers can put these by or under the tankless heater when they install it initially and flush out the system if needed.I didn't do this. I didn't know. I put up the tankless heater outside my house without these, initially. Then the tankless heater quit working about four days after it was on. Had to overnight these. Plumbers had to come back out and cut out a line to put these on when they could have done it when they did the lines the first time. Turns out there were some small pebbles that got into the line because it was new and the water heater shut down as a safety feature. So yes, get these if you are getting a tankless water heater.

Great value and better operations than the Rinnai set
Used on new install of Rinnai W/H from Lowes. These valves are: 1- MUCH lower in cost than the rinnai set at Lowes, and 2) MUCH better design because it actually has two handles for the operations on each side (4 handles total) --- the rinnai set has a handle and then a cap like deal that requires moving the handle or getting a tool to use the other part on each side (only 2 handles total). I did not really get the relief valve part and instructions weren't clear on where it is to lead to or advisement on output... so I left it off. I am okay at plumbing and have put in lots of things before, but in this application I was not convinced of the value or need of it for the 'on demand' system anyway since water has to flow through the W/H in order for the W/H to work... unlike a tank system there is never water sitting there containerized and potentially getting too hot in the contained area so that it could potentially 'blow' (kept as spare parts for the plumbing drawer for another job someday- he he). Otherwise good value, strong build, and at least the same quality as the rinnai set is evident.

Tankless Water Heater Saved us Hundreds$$$ in first year, more hot water than you can use!
We had this Rheem Tankless Water Heater (Natural Gas) installed a year ago and it is fabulous. Not to waste precious water, but this thing is amazing, set at 120 degrees Fahrenheit, it never never never runs out of hot water for a nice loooooong shower. It is reliable, very compact and we are saving hundreds of dollars a year on gas costs by getting rid of our old 80-gallon tall cylindrical hot water tank. It leaked. This new tank is solid. We bought the style that is installed outside the back garage wall so we saved even more space in the garage/utility room and we saved a couple of hundred bucks on not having to buy the extra interior venting system and install a new vent hole through the roof. The outdoor style is the best!

Must need for tankless heater maintenance.
This valve will save a ton of time and effort when maintaining a tankless water heater. Wish I had one when I first installed my Rheem. The only issue I had was that the connection was confusing. The connection to the heater is a male 3/4" thread. When attaching this valve, the connection for the supply is female. I had to buy another adapter, so that the supply can connect to a male connection. Not that big of deal, but couldn't understand why a female connection is used.

You are paying for the name on the box - don't waste your money!
I ordered the Rheem Isolator and also the Webstone 44043PR at the same because I was installing a Takagi and a Rheem tankless water heater in two houses. The Rheem cost more money but from the picture it looked like it was different than the 44043PR so I thought it was needed for the Rheem tankless water heater. When the isolator valves arrived, I compared them side by side and discovered that they were identical. If you buy the Rheem isolator, you are paying for the name on the box, which is the only difference between the two. Don't waste your money, buy the Webstone 44043PR instead.

Not as described and not the same as pictured
Please correct the description of the product. Also correct the picture. The product itself is good and absolutely nothing wrong with it if it is described for the proper application. The description and picture are extremely misleading.
