Took a chance and got lucky
Got the $80 collar at a flea market for $2 on a whim figuring it might not work. All that was wrong was a dead battery. This fixed it for $13 - 2 bucks for the collar system and 13 bucks for two batteries. Still a pretty good deal.

Battery is exactly as expected, case actually contains 8 watch batteries, I doubt you could buy all of them for what this one costs

Not vary long life
I bought the oem because the generic ones seem to die sitting in the drawer. I just opened the package and both batteries were dead. Bought them 4 month ago. I had a generic one left from a previous order and it's still good. I would think that the oem would have been a better battery. Apparently they are all poor quality.

They are easy to replace in the collors.
It works great to keep my dogs in about 4 acres
