NO LOCK ON THE MARKET IS GOING TO COMPLETELY STOP A DETERMINED THIEF. This will, however, make them work at least a little bit for it. It's not the strongest possible coupler lock out there, but it also doesn't cost $300-$400. Which would have been 25% of the cost of the trailer. The main reason I picked this kit is the covers over the keyholes. I've had lockable pins before that I had to drill out because of the key cylinder getting stuck. Hopefully, these won't do that. For me, living in a small country town and behind a fence, this will do just fine.Oh, and the pouch is pretty nice, too, but I don't know how much it will get used to hold these items.

It’s about the quality you’d expect for the price. I needed a new set after a relative borrowed my trailer and lost the lock and key for the trailer lock. (Don’t leave it on the bumper!) so what this does have going for it is this... you get 3 levels of security for your towing hitch/receiver. You also get 3 keys and all locks keyed the same. While the locks seems a bit cheaply made, this is a basic line of defense to thwart a thief. I personally feel that If someone knows what they are doing or wants it bad enough, they’ll figure out a workaround to get your trailer. Now the downsides... the “ball” that goes up inside is a plus shaped wafer of metal that forms the shape of a hitch ball. I couldn’t find a way to get any of the locks to close w/out the keys being in the lock. The key/locking mechanism seem to be cheaply produced compared to previous products that I have used. For the price of the 3 locking devices, I’ll keep them and see what happens. I can say that the locking bar for the hitch lock was about 3/4” shorter than my current hitch lock. It just barely fits into the hole and allows it to latch the lock to the bar. I don’t have any ability to turn the lock once installed so it’s either facing up or down but i can’t move it to where it would face me and unlock easily. I figure I won’t be locking and unlocking it often so it won’t be a huge deal.

Lock is very flimsy, half plastic! Will not fit a 2" ball boat trailer. Clamps to the front and can be easily be pushed down and removed with out the key. Cannot believe MasterLock put their name on this.

Work well on my trailer. Just need to get one pad lock for my work box with the same key.

I bought one of these about 5 years ago, and I misplaced the keys for the setup. If you're worried about someone using a hammer to get the unit off don't worry. The plastic would break off but the metal under it will hold, it took me a angle grinder and I burnt through a 4.5" wheel to get it off my trailer. I'm just glad I didn't have it locked to my truck.

liked,the all keyed alike for the 3 locks. Hitch receiver lock is 5/8" and strong.Trailer tongue lock fit is a bit loose, could be built sturdier. lock for trailer ball latch is very light duty.

Strong and that's all you need for your trailer. I was new to trailers world and got this because I think it's a good package with one same key for three locks. This package makes it easier to tow and park with security
