My First Book of Colors: Scholastic Early Learners (My First) Board book – January 26, 2016

I have no idea why my 9 month old granddaughter likes this book so much, nor what she’s learning from playing with it - but it’s made the cut and become a regular feature in our book time.

This book is super fun. It's a great way to teach my toddler about colors.

I had high expectations on this book. The idea of color mixing windows is awesome, I'm sure it will be mind blowing for a young child, except one problem: There's too many repeated primary colors.With 14 pages, your child get to learn about the three primary colors and three secondary colors.I understand the writer was trying to balance out the color pages so the color mixing windows would work, but some repeated colors pages are not necessary, they could have been replaced with neutral colors like white, black or grey. It's kind of annoying to see red, yellow, and blue two or three times within the limited 14 pages.If possible, I wish it would introduce brown too.But let's be fair. For a price lower than $5, the book served its purpose as an introduction of color mixing. I haven't seen any other book transfer color mixing better than this one.

Awesome book for our early learner baby. The different colors and associated pictures are really good. It also shows what color you get when you mix 2 different colors. It is very light weight and easy to hold. Definitely recommend it for infants/toddlers.

My baby loves this book! It's a fun way for her to learn about colors.

Book content is great for little ones. I was expecting a brand new book but this on was obviously used.
