i bought these for a 'paddle in pink' breast cancer fundraiser. I decorated my paddleboard with them and headed off for a sunrise paddle. They were lovely, bright and most importantly the battery box was waterproof as described.

Not sure how long these will work but I am happy with them. Bought 2 in 2 different colours (pink + purple). They were on all day at my baby girl bday party. And they still work when I on them. Will take batteries out and store them away so I can hopefully use them again in the future.

Flimsy delicate item. Took 20 mins to unravel all the knots. Very basic. Doubt it will last long..

A small string of tiny, single colour, single intensity LED lights. Pretty bright but not enough to light a room where you want to do anything but sleep, pray or do nothing.So as decorative lights added to an overall lighting scheme these are fine, but there is no remote control which means the box that contains the on/off switch and the batteries (3x AA size - not supplied) will need to be easily accessible.My conclusion, fine if you're looking to put edge lights around an item of furniture or a picture, but as part of an overall room lighting scheme with multiple lighting gadgets and a central control there are many better options now.

I’m a little disappointed in these as I didn’t realise they would be as tiny as they are! They’re so small that both the lights and battery pack sits in the palm of my hand.They’d be no good for using as mood lighting as an alternative to having the main light on in a room.There is no remote control to them either so you need to be able to access the battery compartment to be able to switch them on and off.They’d be great to make a feature of something like framing a picture hung on the wall though so if that’s the kind of project you want to use them for then they’re perfect. And at £2.99 they’re a great price for that.

I love these little lights, I got the purple ones and they really are quite beautiful. They give a dark corner a cheerful feel and against a wall they look like they have a purple halo around them. They come on a flexible lightweight wire so you can twist them around anything you want without damaging it. I have no creative flair whatsoever but you don’t need any as these lovely little lights do it all for you. They run off 3 x AAA batteries and last for ages. Priced at £3.99 I’d highly recommend them.
