There is an adjustable buckle for width but the foot bed is much too long for a size 6. I also found the foot bed uncomfortable to walk in. I returned them. There may be a $3.20 restocking fee but the return label for the package is a free USPS label.

I'm a size 10.5 to 11 that got the EVA Madrids in Black and size 41N. I do not at all have a narrow foot. I'd describe my foot as medium width but high density so that it's kind of a medium-wide shoe I really need for comfort. All of that said, after reading the reviews and because of availability, I decided to invest in my first pair of Birks in this style in a size I worried would be too small and narrow. There was no need to worry because these shoes run large as everyone has said. A size 41 fit my size 11 feet quite well and the shoe is in no way too short. There was a bit of a break in period of about 1 week before they were actually comfortable. The buckle part initially hurt the top of my foot but it got better. Also the arch support on this is quite high and people with high arches would enjoy that. It sometimes gets a little bothersome for my somewhat low arched feet. All in all, these are comfy sandals that I wear frequently. In the black, they're almost casually stylish for running errands in jeans and dresses and skirts. I've worn them pretty heavily for nearly a year and they're still in perfect condition. If they broke, I'd replace them.

I've been wearing Birki and Naot for over 20 years to help with various issues relating to high arches and knee pain. This is my first EVA pair, bought specifically for use as indoor/outdoor slippers in the summer. I have had soccer slides from Speedo, failing and made my feet smell like vinegar, Under Armour, blisters and vinegar feet, Adidas or Nike, just meh and again vinegar feet. Something in the materials the other companies use react with perspiration and produce a vinegar smell. Oh and my Teva sport sandals do the same, but they are comfortable and as I'm working out in them, they're forgiven.Notes- same 38N fit as in my other Birki shoes/sandals- strap is far up towards the toes and narrow - also my first pair in this style. They felt strange at first but now are perfectly comfortable- NO vinegar feet stink- they do make a distinct 'flip flop' sound and sometimes a foot fart but for late night I can modify my stride so they are nearly silent- they have all the Birki features I know and love: the toe grip, the arch support, the moulded footbed that feels and performs very close to cork soled Birkis- I read that they should be washed/rinsed weekly or directly after contact with salt water and feel that this is information that should be included in the item description, just like cork life for cork sandals ought to be used on regular Birkis- no blisters!- I bought on price, white was the cheapest. It's not operating room blinding white but it is bright and just a shade off pure white. The strap and side of the sole are whiter than the footbed.- they are fantastic for my intended use and they would also be great pool or beach sandals. I would consider trying them as shower shoes in a gym but right now I don't go to a gym and I never bother wearing shower sandals so I cannot comment on how grippy or slippy they are when wet.- overall very pleased with my purchase, very suitable for in and around the house, comforting familiar Birki in a different material

The shoes are very comfortable shoes with great arch support, however have ripped where the strap meets the sole of the shoe. Both shoes are ripped on the inner sides of the sole. These are not durable shoes.

I usually wear Birkies 2 strap sandals. When I saw these I thought they were cute and more feminine looking. I was excited when they arrived. I tried them on and they felt great, so I put them in my closet. Today after 2 months I took them out and wore them shopping for approximately 5 hours. I have to say my feet ached after only a few hours and the strap is wide, so if you have a bunion it will put pressure on the bunion. I found that out!! The double strapped birkies are cut not to put pressure on a bunion. Needless to say, after 2 mos I cannot return these but will only wear them around the house or yard for short periods of time.I do not recommend if you need a sandal with more support. Also I don't recommend a sandal of this type if you have a bunion, the pressure makes it really hurt bad. So only double strapped Birkies for this gal from now on.!!True to size and very cute...I want to end on a positive.!!

I bought red. Loved the color. However, Letters were faded upon receiving.

Do not buy the pink. It is purple. They are very lightweight. I'm going to return because of the color.

I was looking for a pair of sandals I could wear to work, where it's a casual office setting. I take the bus to work and walk a few blocks to and from the bus stop, so I needed shoes with support because I have high arches. These shoes fit the bill. I got the gold/braun color which is a nice neutral, and I can wear them with skirts, dresses, and skinny jeans with the cuffs rolled up. They make a slight "flip flop" noise when I walk but nothing too bad unless I'm running up and down stairs. I like that the soles kind of mold to my feet - I think there was a slight break in period and now it's like they were made for my feet. They were comfortable from the beginning though. Might get another pair in black if I can find them in my size. I'm always a size 8 but I followed the other reviews and ordered these in 38 N EU (labeled as 7-7.5) and they fit perfectly.
