Great double pack for travel!
I purchased a single bulb by this company first to see if the hype was legit. Green colored LED bulbs did nothing different for me but these narrow band green bulbs are definitely a game changer. I have photophobia and Irlen syndrome but I’m also healing from a head trauma from 6 months ago and am experiencing post-concussive syndrome. So, this company really had their work cut out for them with me. When I was hired to shoot a wedding in Seattle, I knew I’d be taking on a lot of stress in a short time that could trigger a blinding migraine—including a 265 mile drive just to get to the Inn I reserved my room at. Knowing there are always night stands with lamps on both sides of a king size bed, I purchased this pack to bring with me to swap out the bulbs once I arrived for my stay. They didn’t do much for the gorgeous mural of Seattle on the wall, but they did wonders for my head and eyes as well as keeping my stress low for my entire stay. They were more than bright enough that I didn’t have to turn on the lights in the master bath. I just kept the door open. And I just swapped the lightbulbs back as I was leaving. The hotel thought it was such a brilliant idea they’ve now purchased a set for future guests who may struggle with migraines while traveling as well. These aren’t a cure all. As you can still get a migraine while using these. I have. But my migraines are caused by light, according to my neurologist. That being said, to go from 15 a month to 3? That’s HUGE and I’ll take it!

Did not last.
For an LED bulb, it lasted less than 4 months of everyday use so I am unhappy with it. It gets three stars because it did help with migraine pain. Update: Even though I was out of the 90 day warranty period, Hooga contacted me and replaced my light bulb. So with that kind of customer service, I've changed my review to 5 stars. The bulb does help with my migraines, in that it lessens the pain and I'm still able to do things like read a book. It's not a replacement for medicine, but an aid for those of us who have light sensitivity during migraine attacks. I highly recommend trying it out.

Not worth the price
When I first got them only one bulb worked of the two. Not wanting to wait to use them I decided to keep them instead of sending them back. I use them at work so only 3x\week. The 2nd bulb has now quit working and it's only been 2 months since I got them. So not even remotely worth the money. Don't waste yours.

I don't know if this works or not, but I like the colour
I have not noticed a particular decrease in the severity of my migraines. I have it on my bedside table. I do like the colour, though, so I have it on as mood lighting often.

Pain free illumination during a migraine
I wasn't expecting it to work, but it did. When I had a very bad migraine the light from this bulb caused zero pain and I did find the green reflected light somewhat soothing. Other forms of artificial light were immediately and intensely painful. This bulb allowed me to have a light on during a migraine. It's so bright at night, however, that I needed to use it with an opaque shade and bounce it off a wall.

Worked great but burned out and stopped working after only 2 months use.

Completely enchanted
I bought this “green migraine” bulb and I was skeptical. However, I find by the end of a long day working on the computer I usually have a headache if I am lucky and a migraine if I am not. So I thought I would give it a try. No headache. I turn it on at the start of a headache and it freezes and stops it…no headache as long as I am near my magical green light. I would not have believed it if I hadn’t tried it now I have ordered more of them. Everyone that gets headaches should have one…course then they will want more like I did. The company is great very friendly reached out to see if I was satisfied. I am. I like the bulbs. I like the company. You will too try them.

Hooga Migraine Relief Green LED Light Bulb is probably not effective.
The green bulb puts out very little light. Low light helps migraine symptoms. The green light is somewhat freakish, especially if you're trying to work with another person. One bulb was defective. I do not recommend this product.
